I took this picture last January at an epic beach party I attended with my friends. We had an amazing night, and by the time the party ended, the sun was already rising. We headed to the parking lot, only to find a massive line of cars waiting to leave. Instead of waiting in the queue, we decided to chill on the dunes until the traffic cleared. We lounged in the sun for a while, then returned to the parking lot. That’s when I realized my phone was missing. I panicked and we retraced our steps, but the dunes were vast and searching felt hopeless. Thankfully, one of my friends spotted a glint of light reflecting off something buried in the sand—it was my phone! It was covered but intact. Looking back, the night was unforgettable not only because of the fantastic party but also because of the adrenaline rush of almost losing my phone and then finding it.
