Possessing the skills and ability to do just that can come from knowledge like the concepts in this class. 

For me the time value of money concept is one that can be directly translated to my personal and professional life. If you have the ability to turn $1 into $2 and that then turns into $10 why would you not take the risk to ensure being able to continue working and having money to continue your business.
