They are also seen as scream queens because whenever they find a situation they also seem to scream, this creates tension for the audience by creating tension this makes the audience 'feel on the edge'  and makes them want to hide, this is the whole experience of  viewing a horror film.
The Film is based on a girl who has to look after a ladies husband whilst she is staying with the family she discovers an attic and as she has a rummage through and discovers recipes for disasters and old scary dolls, this creates an awful tension for the audience because mostly everyone hates dolls as they tend to look evil.
