Back then, there were widespread persecution of Jewish communities in Europe which was one of the main reasons the Jews made the Zionist movement. This happened in any parts of Europe which charged the Jews with the will of finding peace and their own homeland. Sooner or later they had to do something, so in 1897 was when the first Zionist congress was ever held (in Basel, Switzerland) where they debated their ideas for the establishment of a Jewish state.

1917: The Balfour Declaration

One day a letter from Arthur Balfour stated that they will support the establishment of a Jewish state and will create a home/nation for the Jewish in Palestine. This act contributed to the demolition of Ottoman rule and the Palestine-Israeli conflict. This was an important moment in Jewish History in which the British Government recognized the Jewish people's right in having a home.

1920: The League of Nations & The Haganah

In 1920 the league of nations gave Britain the permission to rule and administer Palestine. This fabricated the commitment of the Balfour declaration and facilitated the process of the Jew's immigration to Palestine. This led to nearly 30 years of Great Britain ruling the region. Later in the year the Hanagah was formed. (A paramilitary organization founded by the Jews which defended Jewish communities who settled in Palestine).

1929: Hebron Massacre

Located in the city of hebron a violent massacre took place in which Arab residents attacked the Jewish where about 67 Jewish residents were killed while many others sustained injuries.

1930's: The Arab have Revolted.

During the 1930's there was a long period in where the arabs formed a rebellion against the British rule and the Jewish migration. Factors that caused this sudden rebel include, frustration over land disposition, jewish migration and economic inequality.

1947: Un resolution

This resolution was a partition to split the Jewish and Palestine states with Jerusalem still under international rule. While the Jewish accepted this, the Arabs and Palestine thought otherwise.

1948: Israel war of Independence

Israel obtained independence in 1948, after this invasions began around neighbouring states including, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. The war ended in Israels favour securing survival and more land.

1964: The Palestinian Liberation Organization

The PLO was founded in 1964 in Cario, Egypt to represent the desire of the Palestine which was the destruction of Israeli. For decades this group was dedicated to terrorise the Israeli, thankfully this ended in 1988 where they accepted the idea of 2 seperate states.

1967: The Six Day War

The six day war lasted from June 5 to June 10, 1967. It was a short conflict in the middle east primarily between Israeli and Palestine states but then involved Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Israel took an overwhelming victory molding Israel into the wealthier nation it is now. Although this did heightened the Arabs rejection of Israel.

1979: Peace Between Egypt & Israel

Israel and Egypt signed a peace treaty, leading to Israel's withdrawal from the Sinai Peninsula.

1991: Madrid Peace Conference

And conference set up by the UN located in Madrid addressed the conflict between the Palestine and the Israeli. Representatives from both states were brought and they discussed peace and political conflicts.

1995: Assassination of the Israeli Prime Minister

A long time major political figure Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated by an Israeli extremist at a peace rally.

2006: Second Lebanon War

A conflict between Israeli and Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon rises causing an ambush made on Israeli soldiers leading to some getting killed and others kidnapped as hostages. This war ended in ceasefire and a UN peacekeeper being deployed in Lebanon.

2008-2009: Gaza War

Israel launched a military operation towards to gaza as a response from them firing rockets at the Israeli. This was the first major conflict between Israelis and Palestinians since the end of the Second Intifada in 2005.

2020: Peace to Prosperity

President Donald Trump came up with the plan "Peace to Prosperity." This vision included peace between both states but with a little bit of land swapping. This plan also included a promise of $50 million to the Palestinians.

2021: May Conflict in Gaza

11 day war between Israel and Hamas occured. This resulted in intense airstrike bringing civilians and other land into this dispute. In the end, Egypt and other mediators ended this war.

2022: August Operation in Gaza

Israel began an all out attack on Gaza on the 5th of August, specifically targeting a building where a military leader lived.

2023: October 7 Hamas Massacre

An Iran terror group that controlled Gaza launched a surprise attack to over 20 Israel communities. Many terrorists murdered and kidnapped israelis having over 134 hostages being held in Hamas.
