Currently I'am reading a poetry book name , Rashmirathi , which is written by famous hindi poet , Ramdhari Singh Dinkar . The idea of this book basically revolves around the character of Karn ( Son of God Sun). How he faced a lot of challenges in his life and how he was discriminated, as he was the son of a charioteer . Karn is known for his generous character . He also donated his armour coil given by his father , the Sun to God Indra . Knowing , the Pandavas are his brother and Kunti his mother, he didn't left Duryodhan alone just because he helped him when he was disappointed in the Sabha. He said to God Krishna " a friend in need is a friend indeed " . He said that he does not want money and empire . He is helping the Kauvas just to amortise ,all what they did for him .
I'm inspired by the character of Karna and everybody should follow the path of Karna .
The poet uses his poetry in a very good manner to tell a story!!
Hope you will also read this book for it is the inspiring one ......

Mansi Nehra

Darrell Rivers begins her first year at Malory Towers, a castle-like clifftop boarding school in Cornwall. She meets sharp-tongued, cheeky Alicia, musical genius Irene and timid Mary-Lou. Determined to do well and make friends, Darrell's first term is turbulent. Her temper causes problems and her efforts at playing the fool backfire. Another new girl is Gwendoline Mary Lacey, who turns out to be vain, shallow and prone to occasional spitefulness and bullying. The Malory Towers stories largely centre on the intertwined stories of Darrell and Gwendoline, along with Alicia Johns, Sally Hope and Mary-Lou. The first book ends with Darrell finding a best friend in Sally Hope.
Thank you
Anshika Tiwari
Class IX B

Recently I read the story Finding NEMO by Disney Pixar. The story startes from a conversation by Coral and Marlin as they watched the grotto that was filled with hundreds of fish eggs. Suddenly a hungry fish came that way and saw the eggs. He turned to the eggs but Marlin tried his best to stop the fish but he was knocked away. When he opened his eyes Coral and the eggs was gone. Then Marlin saw that one egg which was slightly damaged survived. He took the egg and named it NEMO. Years went by and NEMO grew into a happy young fish who was curious about everything. NEMO longed for adventure , but Marlin determined to protect him. When NEMO's school was going to a field trip, Marlin stopped him .NEMO was very sad and he said to Marlin that he hate him .As a revenge NEMO darted up toward a boat on the surface. His father, Marlin yelled after him saying 'get back here'.As NEMO swam a diver pick him up. He suddenly screamed. Now Marlin was trying to save him but he saved NEMO after a long journey. At last he saved NEMO, but NEMO was unconscious now. Marlin now thought that NEMO would die, but he remembered that NEMO wished to ask sea turtles age. When Marlin said about the journey and how he meant 150 aged sea turtle, Nemo came to conscious and he asked more about sea turtles. They both lived happily.

The I am reading now is secret garden. The secret garden tells the story of Mary Lennox , a spoiled young English girl being raised in India . After the death of her parents, she is sent to live at her mysterious uncle's Yorkshire estate, Misselthwaite Manor. Mary is disagreeable, used to being waited on , and initially dose not even know how to dress herself. At Misselthwaite, she is mostly ignored and left to wander outside in the garden.the manor is full of secret, though, and Mary often heard the screams of a child echoing it's hall at night, despite the servant insistence that it is only the wind. She also heard rumours of a mysterious garden, locked up for over a decade after the death of her uncle's wife. Mary sets out to discover the secret of Misselthwaite and bring the garden back to life .

Despite the complexities of any novel, l think it's useful when studying structure to see if a novel plot can be distilled into one line . (Screenwriter might call this a logline.)

In the secret garden, this might be:

When Mary parents die and she is sent to live with her uncle, she must discover the secret of his estate and bring a garden back to life in order to gain her own happiness and save the life of her cousin .

Gayatri

8th C

Recently I read the autobiography of DR:APJ ABDUL KALAM.

The story begins with Kalam’s childhood. He was born in Rameswaram’s middle class family and spent his childhood in Rameswaram with his brother-in-law and partner Ahmed Jalal Uddin. Ahmed tells him about literature and scientific research. Samusuddin was also with him, who was the only news paper distributor in his city. He talks about his childhood education and college, and also life at MIT.

After completing the engineer, he was in front of two opportunities. First Air force and Second Ministry of Defense, Director of Technical Development and Production. He applied for both but was selected in the Ministry of Defense. Later he met Dr. Vikram Sarabhai who helped him a lot. Due to Sarabhai’s guidance and hard work, he was able to touch the sky’s height.

Due to all the successful trials, he was later asked to make missiles for India. Then surface to surface, Prithvi. Tactical for vehicle repair defense, Akash. Anti-tank missile, nag. And took decision to make medium range ballistic missile, Agni.

Prithvi was tested on 1988. The launch date of Agni was kept on 30 April 1989. Agni Missile’s team has more than 500 scientists. Launching preparations were made and the surrounding villages were evacuated at the time of launching. The entire project was started 14 seconds later and the problem was fixed.

Book Summary:

The Secret - Book summary

The Secret is the Law of Attraction, which says that “like attracts like”, and our thoughts create our lives. In this book, Rhonda Byrne sheds light how The Secret works, sharing anecdotes, insights, and quotes from luminaries like Einstein, Jung, and Emerson, alongside New Age and self-help experts. In this free version of The Secret summary, you’ll learn about the Law of Attraction and how to apply it to achieve what you want in your life.

Introduction to The Secret

Everything in the universe is made of vibrating atoms and energy, including us. When examined under a microscope, we are masses of energy, within larger masses of energy.

Energy vibrates at specific frequencies; our thoughts are magnetic with their frequencies too. Our personal vibrations are determined by our thoughts and feelings. When we think of something, we are transmitting these frequencies to the Universe, like a human transmission tower, and they magnetically attract things of the same frequency. In short, like attracts like, and we attract things, people and circumstances that are of a similar vibration or frequency as ourselves.

The Secret Book Summary_law of attraction

WE ATTRACT WHAT WE THINK OF THE MOST

The Law of Attraction is a law of nature. It is as impartial and as predictable as the law of gravity, and works regardless of whether we know or believe it. We attract what we think of the most, including:

• Good and bad thoughts: The law of attraction doesn’t distinguish between good or bad thoughts, and it doesn’t recognize whether you want or don’t want something. It simply delivers what you are thinking about most persistently. Most people don’t get what they want because they are focusing more on what they don’t want (e.g. they don’t want to be fat/ lonely), and hence end up getting more of it.

• Conscious and sub-conscious thoughts: The law of attraction does not only focus on conscious thoughts. You may say that you want more money, but sub-consciously feel undeserving or doubtful about your ability to earn/ attract the money – the Universe recognizes and delivers on those sub-conscious thoughts.

SHORTCUTS TO THE SECRET

We have about 60,000 thoughts a day, and it’s not possible to control all these thoughts. Our feelings can be used as a tool to become aware of what we are thinking, and to accelerate the manifestation of what we want.

• Use feelings to identify our thoughts: We cannot concurrently feel good and bad at the same time – if you are feeling good, you know you are holding “good thought”, and bringing more of what makes you feel good. If you are feeling bad, you can quickly catch yourself and the underlying “bad thoughts”, and shift back to the positive.

• Use feelings to supercharge what you wish to attract: When you feel something strongly, it sends out strong frequencies to attract what you are feeling. That is why what we resist tends to persist (because we give it focus and feeling, attracting more of the same).

You do not need to be worried about every negative thought that you may have, because:

• Not all fleeting thoughts are manifested; what manifests most predictably are sustained thoughts that are super-charged with feelings.

• Positive thoughts are much more powerful than negative thoughts, and it takes many persistent negative thoughts to bring something negative into being.

Hence, the best short-cut is to feel good, happy and positive everyday, because that will bring more good things and happiness to you.

Using The Secret: Tips & Processes

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

To change our lives, we first change our thoughts. The power of creation is in the present, in the now, when the thought is formed and being transmitted. In our full 12-page version of The Secret summary, we explain more about these 3 key steps involved in using The Secret: Ask, Believe, Receive.

USING THE SECRET

To use The Secret, we need to develop awareness, and manage our thoughts and feelings. In our full book summary, you’ll learn more about what it means to master your thoughts, manage your feelings, and use various processes to speed up the shift in your reality, including cleaning up your frequencies, leveraging the power of expectation, the power of gratitude, and the power of visualization.

The Secret in Action

Using the laws of attraction principles, Bryne gives specific tips and various examples of how to apply it to different aspects of our lives, including having our ideal body, money, relationships, health and an abundant life. If you’d like to find out more about the Secret and how to apply it in your life, do check out our full book summary bundle. She currently lives outside of Los Angeles.

Byrne began her career as a radio producer before moving into television production.
