         <description><![CDATA[<div>In terms of progress towards achieving our vision, I've met many teachers at Logan who through a more personalized and above and beyond approach, where they do things like tutoring on social media, and being accessible way past school hours when homework help is needed, those teachers end up creating Students who started at a disadvantage in the class, but ended up at the top, or passing with flying colors. Teachers like that have helped progress us towards achieving this vision set<br> </div>]]></description>

Students often just give up, and with the sheer size of the school and the lack of personalized outreach, it's really easy to just get swept away. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We are talking about our ideal graduate, "Lucy" and the qualities, skills, and mindsets we'd like her to have.  It's a beautiful vision that we all agree on!  We haven't talked much about how to create that ideal student.     It seems that the "how" is still just left to everyone to figure out.   What are the environments, lessons, technologies, strategies, teachers, and skills that the educators in our district need to utilize to create Lucy.  <br><br>Having the network, buildings like ILC, Devices for students, and optional training isn't enough. <br><br> Let's talk about ensuring that our students have choice in presentation of knowledge.  Are they creators/producers rather than just consumers of content?  Do we put focus on a specific curriculum rather that on the standards.  Can students make a movie, write a play, do a presentation, etc  to show mastery?</div>]]></description>

In dealing with "Equity Consciousness, " the premise behind that statement of " adults in schools are primary responsible" it deals with the aspect that adults are in control. Adults design learning experiences, create and pass policies, etc... How do we as adults, let go of that control, especially in classrooms, in order for students to advocate for their own learning and also have a say in what and how they learn. </div>]]></description>
