Then we pounce on him.  Kamauri  ties the dears legs together. Keylon takes the knife to put it to rest.  Kayla grabs it by it's back legs and hauls it home.  Kamauri starts the fire with wood. Kayla put a pot of water from the cennote over the fire. Keylon puts the chopped dear in the water with vegetables.After dinner,we go to the religious ceremonial center. Walking there is tiring and damp. They were divided into four sections. They made two clay pipes one transported fresh water the other cleaned the first pipe if it needed to. Boys and girls were separate schools. Noble boys were taught by priests they learned how to read and write and were trained to be future leaders. Boys with lower social rank learned to trade and build roads also to repair temples all of the boys were trained for battle. Girls learned to use fibers from cotton and maguey cactus plants to weave beautiful cloths. The Aztec hunted deer, rabbit, coyotes, armadillos, and snakes. They raised bees, turkeys, and ducks. They built their homes with sundried clay bricks called adobe. The Aztec planted willow trees along the borders to help hold  the artificially filled lakeshore in place. Most people built domed mud huts outside of their houses. As the city Tenochtitlan grew, the Aztec fought for dominance over other cities and states in the area.
