This discovery makes to the science move on a lot and open the change to found life in another planet. It all started when biologists examined the common salmon parasite called Henneguya salminicola, tehy discovered that the parasite is not  dangerous and lives with salmon throughout its life cycle. It has a mitochondrial genome.
The molecular results show the presence of mitochondrial DNA in M. squamalis, but not in H. salminicola.
The scientific said: “Our discovery confirms that adaptation to an anaerobic environment is not exclusive to unicellular eukaryotes, but has also evolved into a multicellular parasitic animal. Therefore, H. salminicola provides the opportunity to understand the evolutionary transition from an aerobic to an exclusive anaerobic metabolism. ”
They indicated that at the moment it is unknown how the parasite produces energy, but he suspects that he can obtain it from the organism of his host or perform a type of breathing without oxygen. they consider that evolution causes organisms to become more complex, but in this case they are facing the opposite process. Also, they said  "Living in an oxygen-free environment, got rid of unnecessary genes responsible for aerobic respiration and became an even simpler organism"
In conclusion, the finding of this organism is a new step for science, maybe after all that happened, we are not alone.
