My Experience with Blogging

Writing a blog has been a fun and interesting experience for me. I like that it gives me a place to write down my ideas and think about what I'm learning. Sometimes it's hard for me to make sure my writing is both clear and interesting. I've learned that getting my thoughts in order before I write really helps, and I'm getting better at making my posts simple to read. In general, blogging has helped me improve how I say things and how I think about different things.

Web 2.0 Tool for Teaching

Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is a Web 2.0 tool that I might use in the classroom. It lets students make short movies to share their ideas, which is useful for group work, personal growth, and even public speaking. It's great that it lets students who don't like to talk in front of the whole class still engage. Teachers can also answer with video comments, which makes it more personal and interactive. Flip by Microsoft is the place to see it.

My Experience with Generative AI

Generative AI helped me come up with ideas and plan lessons. It helped me come up with lesson plans and ideas, but I still had to make some changes to make them work in a real classroom. AI can give good starting points, but it doesn't always get the details right. I will make my prompts more clear next time so that I get even better results.

Using Generative AI in Teaching

AI could be helpful in the classroom, but only if it's used correctly. It can be used to make lesson plans, practice questions, or extra materials to help kids learn. But I would make sure to check the information it gives out and that kids are using it in a smart way. Also, I would teach them to question things and not just believe what AI says. AI shouldn't take the place of real thought and creativity; it should help people learn.
