Justin Balberona

XII - Copernicus

Revised Conclusion:

The results of this study shows that the intervention program was effective in enhancing learners' academic performance. This conclusion is supported by the significant increase in the mean average of students' academic performance after the intervention compared to their performance before it. Furthermore, the statistical analysis confirms a significant difference between the two mean scores, demonstrating the positive impact of the intervention. These findings suggest that implementing similar programs may contribute to improving academic achievement among learners.

Comment:

The conclusion appears well-founded, as it shows a clear improvement in academic performance after the intervention with statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test scores. This suggests that the intervention was effective. However, it would be valuable to consider additional aspects such as the study’s design, sample size, and potential confounding factors to ensure that the improvements can be confidently attributed to the intervention itself. Overall, the findings are promising and support the idea that similar programs might be beneficial in enhancing academic achievement.

Demi Roniel Gempeso

Graham Bell

The study's findings indicate that the Singaporean approach significantly improves students' mathematics performance compared to the conventional method. The higher post-test scores of the experimental group suggest that this approach enhances understanding and problem-solving skills more effectively. The significant difference in post-test scores confirms the Singaporean approach's effectiveness in teaching mathematics. This implies that integrating the Singaporean approach into the curriculum can enhance students' mathematical proficiency and overall learning outcomes

.

The intervention program effectively improved student's academic performance, as shown by the increase in their mean average score. The significant difference between their score before and after confirm its positive impact on learning. This suggest that similar program could be used to help other student improve, making it a beneficial strategy for schools and educators to enhance achievement.

Rosabella Ashley C.

DABASOL, REGGIE MAE S.

STEM XII - ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL

Comment

The conclusion does a good job of summing up the findings, pointing out that Grade 7 learners at St. Catherine’s College are at an instructional level in reading comprehension and still need support from teachers and parents. It clearly highlights the role of both cognitive and environmental factors in their comprehension skills. One thing to note is the phrase "With regards," which would be more grammatically correct as "With regard." Other than that, it’s clear and to the point.

Revised Conclusion

The findings indicate that the reading comprehension level of Grade 7 learners at St. Catherine’s College is at an instructional level. This suggests that while students possess some reading comprehension abilities, they still require guidance and support from teachers and parents to further enhance their skills. Among the factors influencing reading comprehension, cognitive aspects such as inference-making and vocabulary knowledge play a significant role. Additionally, the cultural environment positively contributes to the development of reading comprehension. Therefore, a collaborative effort from educators, parents, and the community is essential to strengthen learners’ reading comprehension abilities.

Recommendations

To help Grade 7 learners improve their reading comprehension, it's recommended that teachers offer extra support through personalized reading activities and vocabulary exercises. Parents can also play a big role by making reading a fun and regular part of their child's day. Schools might consider setting up reading clubs, workshops, or peer tutoring to give students more practice. Encouraging kids to explore books from different cultures can expand their understanding of the world. Finally, regular check-ins on their progress will help spot areas where they might need extra help.
