I think he should not be accepted because being in subcom requires consistent effort and participation to contribute to the club's efforts such as event plannings and what not. He has quite a few commitments such as MAE ambassadors and sp football where he has to train 3 times a week which means he may not be able to priorities and contribute to his fullest potential in spsec.

I do not think that John should be accepted into probation. He has other commitments like Floorball training and is also an MAE ambassador. His background shows he has poor time management skills and cannot organise his priorities correctly. For example, he could not even attend the interview because of his busy schedule with floorball training. he also might just want to join because he wants to travel overseas and have fun but he should also show some interest of interacting with the rest

No. John has good social skills and is able to value the importance of teamwork, additionally, he has multiple experiences in being in a leadership role in Secondary school and previously in SP Floorball. However, I feel that these are basic values that can be seen in multiple participants. Yes being communicative, open and outgoing helps a lot in events and such, but being in a leadership role requires much more. He needs to learn how to manage school, personal and cca life as well as be more independent on individual skills such as time management, responsibility and prioritisation. He will do great as a regular member as SPSEC, but not in a leadership role in my opinion.

1) He seems to be too interested in outbounds, and could only be joining for the sake of outbounds

2) He has many occurrences of being irresponsible and unethical, for example losing a receipt and forging it, and using ChatGPT to do homework

3) He has too much other commitments. Floorball is already 3 times a week, and he still has MAE Ambassadors and his academics. He also seems to highly pirioritise floorball.

4) He seems reliant on others, and will not step up to be a leader. One example is where he would push conflict resolution to the EXCOs, even when he is part of subcomm in the scenario given. He would also rely on friends and family for navigation when overseas, and doesn't seem to be able to be independent.

5) He has poor time management skills. If he is late for classes, he has a high chance of also being late for meetings and events.

Overall, while he has a decent record of previous leadership roles, and has some good qualities such as being sociable and having experience, he also seems reluctant to step up to his role and is very busy with other commitments. He could be a good regular participant and member, but I dont think he should be accepted into probation.

April seems to have pure intentions of joining subcomm, such as learning more about the culture and making new friends from different countries. She has prior experience and can speak Japanese. Since she uses more advanced software for her designs, I think that her quality of work must be better than those from preset designs or stickers from canva. She is also careful to check through her designs before posting. She has also displayed good adaptability skills and is able to handle conflict situations well. Therefore, I would accept her as a Pub in probation

Yes. April has multiple skills set available perfect in leading or working in a team, additionally she also already has experience via Secondary school (e.g chairperson and vice president of student council). While she does have internship in yr 2, she shows that she knows how to manage her time well and is able to complete her work with ease, hence I think she is able to balance between her work and cca life. Perfectionism can be a benefit and a disadvantage, while her work will be very well thought out, her micromanaging will need to be worked on. Overall, she has potential to develop herself into a better leader and already has a beginning of a good skill set. I would delegate her as publicity or secretary.

i think that april should be accepted into probation. she has no other commitments other than intern during sem 2, however, she wants to do publicity and most of it can be done online. April shows interest in learning more about different cultures and making new friends which is good for someone in SEC and she also shows good communication skills and is able to interact with other people well and also she knows japanese which is a good skill to have for SEC. She is able to know what do to during unforeseen circumstances and knows how to handle it well.

I think we can accept her into probation to see how she is when working in a group setting with different types of people. She seems to fit the position of publicity as she has equipped knowledge and is aesthetically driven. Outside of her publicty role, she seems to fit being a subcom member as well tho to her being able contribute more skills in other aspects.

Yes. I think Bob’s personality and goals are in the right place and he has certain skill sets that fulfill the criteria of a pub and secretary but it’s not developed well. Accepting him into probate will allow him to develop and learn how to work as a team, how to further develop his skills and also further allow him to explore his leadership quality.

i think he can be considered. however, i think bob has not a lot of leadership skills as he asks a lot of feedback for teachers and needs approval from them when he should be confident about his work

I would accept him into probation as a secretary member.

He does not seem to have the knowledge to be a pub.

He is able to resolve conflicts well and has pure intentions for joining. He is also able to be independent and adaptable

I think i might not consider accepting him just because he does not seem to have the relevant skill sets for the roles he has signed up for.

No. Louis’s personality is disruptive and causes disruption to the team in general. I understand that he has skills set to be a treasurer and is social with the participants but he causes more problems for the events and doesn’t consider others. IMO, he is not fit for sub com

No. he shows childish behaviour like placing things in the dustbin for people to find which is very unhygienic and there's risk involved. he has poor time management skills as he is late to join back to the event. and he also has disruptive behaviour during event

I think i will not accept him into the subcom because as much as treasurer seem more individualist, at the end of the day its about working together as a com. He seems to be very vocal but doesnt take into consideration of the struggles the other members may feel such as demanding to cut items down and changing the proposal without informing

No. Adrian only has 1 skill set which is doing the CCA records satisfactory. Other than that, he doesn’t know how to read the room (asking how many girls), prioritises his own work and is a follower person. He doesn’t fit to be in sub com

i would not accept him into the subcom because he doesnt seem to be able to contribute ideas and lacks the energy to keep momentum up which i think is quite important in a team setting. He seems to just go with the flow and i dont think thats the best trait
