A teacher of English as a foreign language working at Betül Can Anatolian High School in Ankara, Turkey. The students in my school are aged between 14-18. Betül Can Anatolian High School was labelled a Project School, which has been one of the most remarkable concepts in the strategic future plans of Ministry of Education. The main aim behind this plan is to prepare gifted students to the essential requirements of the 21st century world by using the Project Based Learning realm of modern methodology.

    As a teacher, my main target in the lessons is to equip the students with the skills of problem solving in real life situations and with the appropriate communication skills to survive in their social lives. My lessons are just enlightening  their path, enabling them to continue their education journey as free, confident and conscious individuals as possible, and making the most of their potential from birth. My place in the classroom is not more than standing as a guide in their own life journey of which the real actors are themselves.

I am an English Teacher in İskenderun Demirçelik Anatolıan High school .I live in İskenderun which is both and industrial and touristic city as ıt has one of the most important iron-steel factory of Turkey and also a long  Arsuz  Beach popular with its sand. I have been teaching for  seventeen years and I love contributing something to young people.My students are between 14 and 17 and spending time with them makes me feel fresh.
I have been in e-twinning projects since last year and I am learning a lot with my students.I belive taking part in projects will facilitate some skills such as imaginative thinking skills and problem solving among my student.Also project-based learning is one of the effectivenes-proven methods in education .
