They are a membership organisation that helps people who work in the backstage community to make sure that they are safe, as well as advising on things such as good practice and planning. 

ABTT aim to make sure that all members are safe and are up to date on all new technical advances in the backstage community. 

If you sign up as an individual, it will cost anywhere from £25-£80 depending on your age. In return you would gain access to a safety hotline, great networking opportunities, discounts on certain publications, and a lot more!
 
However if you decide to sign up as an affiliate organisation, it will cost between £250-£750 depending on how many people are included. Theatres, colleges, companies and organisations can pay between £110-£180 per year for membership.
