Students could then watch the video while completing the task themselves and can pause this when they need more time. This worked well but most students are now using youtube tutorials for photo-shop as this means they can all choose the techniques they want to learn rather than having me dictate this. There  are a wealth of turorials available</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To get students away from the essay style response from my biology L3 students I give them a scenario that they are presenting on a topic to an audience. They can use any presentation  software (powerpoint, prezi, slides, video etc.). The idea is that they have to be a little more concise. It also means that they are not waffling on as they could be asked to present the presentation to the class. Of course, this also means that they could deliver the presentation (with diagrams on the powerpoint). I could then video or tape record the audio. We have had one student choose the latter (and did extremely well).</div>]]></description>

         <title>Google meet in conjunction with a shared jamboard, presentation, word doc, spreadsheet ...  enables students to present thinking visually while speaking to it verbally.  I get to know how my students are approaching learning - for example when solving a maths equation, on on screen I can see their physical response (muttering numbers, using fingers), on another I can see workings as well as being able to hear them work through the problem.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I've used some whiteboards to allow students to build their evidence at level 3 (Trig, conics and critical pathways). As they progressed with a problems they would learn, play and apply it, in the end we has several photos and it made the creation of a solution easy for the students, easy to show merit and in one case excellence level thinking across the board!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We have had real success this year with the purchase of a Go Pro 360 camera. We been able to capture lots of action/evidence of doing without having to stage it. We do find we have lots of film to go through but the evidence is real it very naturally occurring. WHat we are finding is that students really enjoy seeing the evidence and are far more willing to back up this evidence with written explanation/feedback because the evidence is naturally occurring and often the film is the first time others have seen what happened.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When outlining an assessment, I use a series of questions which they need to be able to answer for the assessment. Most write an essay or make a slideshow, but I have found that some students who don't like or aren't good at writing can plan responses and then I can interview them and voice record on my phone. This also gives me the ability to ask them for more detail or follow up something they have said.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a bit of a videor myself I'd like to get the kids doing them for assessment.  I did have my scholarship students present essentially the outline to an internal assessment &amp; record it for them.  I think probably they would have meet the criteria for at least Achieved, possibly Merit.  The only issue was that they presented it as a group &amp; i'm not sure how you can judge how much each individually knew.  </div>]]></description>
