         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Proclamation of 1763 stated that settlement past the Appalachian Mountains was banned. Of course this didn't settle with the colonist because company expansion would be limited, so to make sure the law was followed, the King sent 10,000 extra troops along the frontier.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In The Sugar Act many goods apart from sugar was banned to help pay the debt the mother country had after the war. Newly taxed goods include,  molasses, certain wines, coffee, pimiento, cambric and printed calico. Not only that, but export of lumber and iron were also taxed, and due to The Sugar Act the Rum industry had an immediate negative effect.</div>]]></description>

Two of the main acts were the Boston port act and the Quartering act. The Boston port act was to close off the Boston port until the cost of damage from the Boston Tea Party was recovered. While the Quartering act stated that you were to allow the royal soldiers stay in your house if the barracks were full or unavailable.</div>]]></description>
