Its major function is to produce offspring. The female reproductive system aids in the creation of new life and provides environment and support for the developing child. The male reproductive system produces, sustains, and transports spermatozoa; introduces sperm into female vagina; and produces hormones.

External- Mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris

Male Reproductive 

Internal organs include the vas deferens, prostate and urethra. 

These external organs include the penis, scrotum and testicles

Cervical Polyp- Fibrous or mucous stalked tumor of the cervical mucosa.  (polyp is a general term for tumors that bleeds easily and are found on mucous membrane). 

 
Pelvic Inflammatory disease (PID) infection of the upper genital organs beyond cervix, often involving the peritoneum and intestines.

Sexual Transmitted Disease (STD) – Acquired through sexual contact.  Sometimes called the venereal disease. Examples of the diseases that is bacterial caused  are the Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydial infection and the Chancroid. STD’s that are caused by viral are the AID’S , Hepatitis, Herpes.

Vasectomy- removal of all or a segment of the vas deferens, usually done bilaterally to produce sterility. This procedure is performed as a permanent method of contraception.
