I drove past this abandoned building right in a main intersection. It had graffiti spray painted all over, windows had wood boards, and was super warn down. I think it could benefit the area by either getting rid of it and using the space for something else or make it into an actual place for people to go into.

This apartment complex is in an interesting spot. It is right in the middle of a neighborhood with houses and clearly does not fit. It also has very minimal parking causing people to find it on the street over-crowding the areas roads. It is a nice building, but I think the placement of it could have been smarter.

This is an intersection that has some decent traffic rolling through it. Only two sides of this four way intersection contain stop signs and I think it would benefit this community by adding a traffic light to keep drivers safe. By adding a traffic light, drivers waiting at the stop sign won't have to worry about the oncoming traffic that doesn't have to stop. They can just wait for a light to turn green. It is also difficult to see oncoming traffic on the road not containing stop signs because the street is narrow and also filled with parked cars on both sides of the street.

A series of speed bumps in an area contained quite a bit of salt erosion and pot holes and so did the roads. This can be very damaging to cars who drive along this road. It is bad for a cars tires and suspension and it is important to keep these roads, especially the ones containing speed bumps well maintained.

During my walk along my area, I noticed quite a bit of trash everywhere. In the gutters alongside the sidewalk, in yards, etc. There was just a lot of trash and junk everywhere I looked. It was sad to see to say the least and made me want to go pickup trash around the neighborhood. I think it is important for communities to realize this and set weekly time to help the community by taking some time to clean up trash in the area.

I decided to drive through the area S 700 E E 400 S. I drive through some part of this area almost every single day. When I read through this assignment I knew it would be a good area to drive through and evaluate due to its diverse composition of both family friendly neighborhoods, commercialized areas, and apartments. When I read about this assignment, I was trying to think of some critiques I had for the area off of the top of my head but nothing came to mind. It was not until I actually began to walk around and pay attention to things people would consider deficits when I started to actually find some things. I found a few things that could better the community if they were resolved and a couple of the things to keep drivers and cars safe while driving through this area.
