He used personal examples that he had gone through to give us more sense of reality.          <description><![CDATA[<p>The Treaty of Kanagawa opened up two Japanese ports for American ships that allowed the U.S. to buy and ship supplies. Within five years of this agreement, it opened up to allow harbor trade. All of this caused Japanese people to be angry and the emperor to step down.</p>]]></description>

         <title>1874 - Colonization in Ghana</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>During the Ghana colonization the British used a Customs House to deal with taxes and imported goods. The British also put in railroads to help with transportation of goods also. All of this caused Ghanaian people to try to find their own ways to make money and fight back against the British.</p>]]></description>
