The people who are actually out in the fields day in and day out are getting paid around $42 a day. People's feelings about immigration right now are very tense no matter which side you are on. My sophomore year roommate's family came over illegally before her and her sisters were born. I remember her opening up to me around election time about how her family was handling the news of Trump's win.
