         <description><![CDATA[<div>Narrator: Not far from Mr.Dagthorn's shop in the middle of the estate a fed car was parked with the siren blaring.<br><br>Youth Leader: (shouting) I will take care of this Sergeant! Leave him! I will make sure that he won't repeat this!<br><br>Sergeant: I'm very sorry but you always say this, I have to restore order in this estate! I have a clear order from people of more importance.<br><br>Youth Leader: But I have responsibility over the children in this estate. You're only supposed to interfere with everyone else so you can take care of the shopkeeper and calm him down while I talk some sense into Collie.<br><br>Sergeant: (After a long pause)Fine then, just this once. If this happens again you've no say in the matter okay?<br><br>Youth Leader: Okay. (while shaking hands with the sergeant)<br><br>Youth Leader: (now facing Collie) What is up with you? I am going to remind you that if you do something like this again I won't be able to interfere only stand by and watch.<br><br>Collie: (Looking down and muttering) Yeah, yeah, okay, keep your hair on. <br><br>Mr. Dagthorn: (muttering angrily) It's all cos of that dratted Youth Person. If she never interferes with those amazing police workers this estate would have been youth free ages ago.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sammy walks into Police chiefs office whilst police chief is on a telephone call<br><br>Sammy:  Oy, you sir have you got a minute<br>Police chief: (slams telephone down angrily) What do you want. Go play on the streets or something leave me to my work<br>Sammy: Well I’m sorry I just wanted to talk to you about something<br>Police chief: What is this exactly <br>Sammy: Well you feds are just  ganging up on us kids<br>Police chief: Ganging up on you (he scoffs) we’re just doing our job boy. Getting rid of dangerous crime.<br>Sammy: You call stealing a bottle of tonic wine a dangerous crime? You feds are constantly on our case I mean cut us some slack. Half the reason us kids are going behind bars is cos  we’re made at you. We’re just trying to make a point man<br>Police chief: So by making your point showing your mad at us, you go on to commit more crimes (eyes narrowing) us that really a good idea?<br>Sammy: Well they’re only little things (Sammy snaps annoyed)<br>Police chief: Still a crime <br>Sammy: Well if your not so hard on us maybe we’lll get better<br>Police chief: So instead of putting you behind bars we should give you a lollipop <br>Sammy: (shouting) You know what I mean<br>Police chief: Look son without us this place would be chaos. Now leave and close the door behind you<br>Sammy: Idiots! (Slams door shut)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>narrator: not far from the BETS CAFÉ a police officer was seen with the youth l leader, talking.<br><br><br></strong>Police Officer: good morning. I’m the chief police officer and I’m here to help. you asked me for for for a meeting? </div><div><br><br></div><div>George: yes. good morning. My name is George Johnson and I’m the youth leader. I wanted wanted to talk about how we could make the life of the people better in South Crongton  Crongton estate.</div><div><br><br></div><div>PO: I agree. The shopkeepers are annoyed at all you youngsters steeling. They always come herecome here. </div><div><br><br></div><div>George: no! I was talking about how we could make it better for <em>children. </em>Now all the adul  adults work and never have time for their kids. That's why I came here. For the </div><div>children.</div><div><br><br></div><div>PO: Oh. But we could talk about both. First, lets do the adults. We could close the o  shops after darkness hours? What do you think?</div><div><br><br></div><div>George: Definitely<em> NO</em>! Think about all the poor children who <em>need</em> food. Where will they go  go?</div><div><br><br>PO: We’re talking about the adults not children. So anyway, if you don’t like it we won’t  won’t do it. Lets do the children. it’ll be easier.</div><div><br></div><div>George : Great! We could give out free food so we’re sure they are healthy.</div><div><em>(speedily)</em></div><div><br><br></div><div>PO: no. it will mean the salary of the shopkeepers will decrease because they will have less  less food to sell.</div><div><br><br></div><div>George: but everyone will be happy. Children: they have food &amp; adults: they help children wh  which is kind.</div><div><br><br></div><div>PO: you are very mistaken. The adults want money for essentials. They won’t be happy happy. I think we should maybe have a meeting later when we get more </div><div><em>evidence</em> people aren't happy. Goodbye. </div><div><br></div><div>George: fine! I’ll go.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Police- Pc Charles<br>Youth leader- Jake<br>Pc charles-I’m fed up of these kids!(shouting) there always up to something,I need someone to keep them in line.<br>Jake-I promise I will do something to sort them out.<br>Pc Charles- like what?<br>Jake- I know! (Excited) I will start a youth club<br>Pc Charles- but what if it gets out of hand and they start kicking off?!<br>Jake- no they won’t because i will have many organised activities to keep them busy such as: football, basketball, table tennis and more <br>Pc Charles- okay...<br>Jake- and a tuck shop where they can buy their lunch from<br>Pc Charles- no doubt they will just steal the food (rolls eyes)<br>Jake- trust me I know what I’m doing I have seen many types of children and these kids just need a new, safe, environment where they can relax<br>Pc Charles- ok I will give you ONE chance but believe me mate if these kids get in trouble one more time (raises voice) you will be in so much trouble </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Script<br>Grayson: On the South Crongton council estate, there’s a bunch of us families, scraping by on minimum wage - ok can we cut this fake story. (Walks up confidently to police chief) We want Nesta out of prison. He ain’t no danger to none of you (whispers ‘filthy scumbags’)! You lot ‘ave guns and the lot an’ we got nothin’. <br><br>Police chief: We invited you to have a (louder voice) productive (normal voice) meeting. Now then, let’s cut to the chase. (Says in monotone voice) what can we do to help the estate, and in return you will help us.<br><br>Grayson: you’s can take Nesta out of prison. ‘e done nothin’ and also take out  Collie. ‘e only took a bottle of tonic wine. He ain’t gonna do anything and he’ll pay Mr Dagthorn back! It only cost £3! Also, you’s can start some sort of fundraiser. To y’know, ‘elp us out.<br><br>Police chief: (bursts out laughing) Help you! We’ve had to put most of yous I’m juvie because of all the trouble you’ve stirred. 3 times a day I’ve had to arrest some of yous. Ok, fine, anything else?<br><br>Grayson: Like, I was thinking about you lot sending packages to the needy (says quietly) - basically everyone - and like, community raffles, an’ the winner gets some money.<br><br>Police chief: And what do we get?<br><br>Grayson: I dunno...<br><br>Police chief: Some respect?!<br><br>Grayson: you’ll get some when you earn it!<br><br>Police chief: How about this - we send packages to the needy,  set up community raffles and fundraisers, but we get a cut of the money and some respect. Deal? (Places out hand)<br><br>Grayson: Everyt’ing in the deal ‘part from the part where you get respect or money.<br><br>Police chief: This isn’t negotiable.<br><br>Grayson: Fine. Deal. (Shakes hand) Bye. (Starts running out the doors) Next time we want Nesta an’ Collie tho’!<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Youth leader: “Hello”<br>Commander: “Good evening”<br><em>As the two met outside they walked into the station and took a seat at a table<br></em>Youth leader: “I want to make lives better for the youths in the area and to be honest it looks like your officers don't care about this they seem reluctant to cooperate with the boys, I mean your men arrested one for stealing a 3 quid item and said he’d pay.”<br>Commander: “It’s our job to arrest them, they stole, it’s the law, now you tell me your thoughts  on it.”<br>Youth leader: “He said he’d pay why can’t you let him off those boys were protecting their friend from getting locked up for a minor accident”<br>Commander: “By headbutting and attacking the officers? I doubt that, do you not realise they could have injured one of my men. They assaulted an officer, that's not a good way to treat an officer ey?”<br>Youth leader: “Yes, I understand they didn't  have to go so far with what they did but you arrested someone for stealing a 3 pound gift.”<br>Commander: “They have to do their job no matter what it’s what they're trained to do.”</div><div><em>The youth leader sighed</em><br>Youth leader: “I understand that but he’s just a young boy.”<br>Commander: “I think you should go now.”<br><em>On that they both shook hands and the youth leader walked out the station back somewhere<br>end </em></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

(Dumps box of biscuits on a large plate)<br>Chief Decker: (delightly) Oh, go on then, why not.<br>Nobby Barns: So, I heard a couple of kids got in trouble the other day for stealing a bottle of tonic wine.<br>Chief Decker: Well if u got your act together and kept those kids of the street maybe this wouldn’t have happened!<br>Nobby Barns: But if I had the fundings to do so I would have, but you take every last penny and still complain you don’t have enough! How do you expect me to do anything? (Shrugs and puts hand up)<br>Chief Decker: Go and ask the government that then, don’t just sit on your bottom all day and expect it all to be done for you! (Looks and Nobby and rolls eyes)<br>Nobby Barns: Well if your so good at your job and you love to help people out, it would be a kind thing to do to ask the government that it’s not a fair split. (Crosses arms)<br>Narrator: They both look at eachother furiously and start to get mad.<br>Chief Decker: Who said that eh, you can go ask yourself, Im not that helpful. It will do you good to do nothing all day anyway!<br>Nobby Barns: Yeah right i would be able to if you were not so selfish and steal all the money, (raising his voice) you clearly must not care about my job or the kids on the street. You might aswell not be here! <br>Chief Decker: You know what Nobby, Im going, Im going to leave you to sort yourself out, and all your nonsense.<br>Narrator: The door slams and Nobby sits in silence and sighs.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Reggie:  Cool to be here (He says whilst shaking hands and sitting down)<br>Police Head: Hello. Look let's get on with this situation (he says with a stern look on his face)<br>Reggie: Look, the situation's quite clear. You feds are causing trouble all over the place (he says, quite calmly). All I'm saying is they're not really treated fairly, if they're in a big group you lot will break them up, if they're on their bikes they'll be asked if they're stolen. We just don't feel that we are being treated fairly.<br>Police Head: That's all well and good but our policemen have to look after people in the Estate and we can't have your lot robbing corner shops and acting like gangsters!<br>Reggie:  Look, we're obviously not getting, anywhere with this, so tomorrow why don't you come down to the centre and speak to the kids yourself and sort your differences out.<br>Po;ice Head: Yeah, why not. But I think it would be better if we spoke to them together because they would listen to you more (says shaking hands and then Reggie leaves).<br><br></div>]]></description>

Am I correct?</div><div><br>L: Yes, my name is Lily.</div><div><br></div><div>S: Well, now that is settled, why do you feel the need for us to change how we treat children and teens? We do that perfectly if I do say so myself.</div><div><br></div><div>L: Well, I have a few ideas that may help teens be a little bit less disruptive, such as a graffiti park..</div><div><br></div><div>S: Oh wow! Lets just spend a ton of money on a stupid art exhibit for teens to draw-</div><div><br></div><div>L: Yes I know you are hesitant but think, lets say a city pays £50k a year to clean graffiti</div><div><br></div><div>S: Oh here we go again…</div><div><br></div><div>L: Thank you. As I was saying, this gives them a place where people can come and see their artwork and its not on the side of a building. It also means that city will have to pay less to clean up graffiti, maybe only £15k.
