I will unplug some of the things that I don't use all the time, like my lava lamp at home, and the light stand as well. And my chargers when I don't need anything charged. My mom bought an energy power strip, and the only way we can play the wii is if the tv is on. It saves energy because the wii system is not on all the time then. I've also learned that by changing to CFLs, we would be saving a lot more money in the long run. In order to get that process semi-started, I'll unplug appliances when not using them, use public transportation and continue using CFLs in my home. Some things you could do to make a difference in terms of environmental cleanliness are replacing your lightbulb or turning things off when not using them. I can do this by unplugging devices not being used, try walking or biking more, and to be more green. In my community, we plant many trees. In the future, I hope we start using more of the mix of non-renewable and also renewable resources. When together they create a lower footprint, and even get the cost affordable. I really did like this unit. Sometimes we often get caught up in our own lives and we don't see what we do to the Earth. Based on our lighting sources we can save more money and energy because when a light bulb (an incandescent) goes out you have to go and buy more but by using LEDs or CFLs you can save more because they use less energy and last longer; although, they cost more than the traditional bulbs. In the future, people will be depending on technologies more as it advances.
