         <description><![CDATA[<p>Untreated gonorrhea can cause sepsis. This happens from the disease getting into the blood stream. This infection is called disseminated gonococcal. An infection of the fallopian tubes, cervix, uterus and abdomen can happen if gonorrhea is not cured. If infection in the penis is not cured the testicles and prostate may also cause infertility pain. </p>]]></description>

This antibiotic can be given through injection and or oral. Due to emerging strains of drug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae, the bacterium that causes gonorrhea, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that uncomplicated gonorrhea be treated with the antibiotic ceftriaxone.</p><p><br></p><p>How long does gonorrhea last?</p><p><br></p><p>Symptoms of gonorrhea will usually improve within a few days, although it may take up to 2 weeks<strong> </strong>for any pain in your pelvis or testicles to go away completely. A woman with bleeding should see improvement after her next menustration.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Individuals should keep an open communication with their partner therefore you will be approachable if abnormalities arise. Practicing safe sex and testing annually will keep individuals updated on their health.</p>]]></description>
