Without this show, without this cast, I would never have had the courage to write and release my own music. Hell, I might not have even picked up a guitar when I did.

This show gave people hope during a global pandemic when we had none. I'm grateful for it, and I won't stop fighting for it.

I was a shit writer before JATP. I didn't do it enough and subsequently didn't get enough practice in. Since joining this fandom, I've had the confidence and skill to put out more well-written stories that I can be proud of. This show changed my life. It deserves to stay alive not just for us, but for the people it hasn't touched yet, the people who need it most.

I was in a really dark place before this show. I used to think I’d never be anything. That all I did didn’t matter because nobody cared. But when this show came out, there were characters like me. Actors like me. Owen takes anxiety medication, like me. I can be like them. It’s not worth it to give up because I can be like Madi, like Charlie, like Jeremy. I can be the Reggie in someone’s life, bringing them just a little more sunshine each day. I can be the Luke in someone’s life, giving them the power of song to push through. I can be the Alex in someone’s life, keeping them down to earth while still caring. I could be the Julie in someone’s life, being endlessly kind to someone when they need it.

Julie and The Phantoms gave me the role models I didn’t know I needed, and now I’m so glad I have.

To be honest I didn’t think Julie and the Phantoms did much for me till I heard it got canceled. It brought me the confidence to try out more music then I already do. I could be writing a song soon and I do believe some of it has to do with Jatps and the people who I have met. I have met people though this show that have helped me through so much. I never was one to like singing for people but this show changed me. Will I really write a song? Who know but if I do it will be because of this show.

It showed lgbtq content in a show with out making a huge coming out story. It showed love and compassion. It is amazing for young children and enjoyable for people of all ages! This one show is worth a thousand of shows no one cares about. Why canceling a show that has potential to teach young people and literally people of any age to be who they are, to be kind and respectful? This show came at a time when many people needed it most. During its release in 2020, I thought this would just be another "coming of age" show. But the further I dove into the lives of these characters, the more I fell in love with this show. Julie and the Phantoms came out at the peak of COVID-19 and it was a light despite all of the darkness. Seeing all of the themes of grief, discovering yourself again, LGBTQIA+, and the importance of being together with those who you care about really struck home for me a thousands of others. This show has helped me find my passions in life and helped me discover myself once again. This show is unlike any other out there and if it is renewed or picked up by another streaming service, I know that it would not disappoint. In fact, if the show does end up continuing, it has the chance to reach a further audience and help them through whatever they may be going through. Julie and the Phantoms can't simply just end like that after a year and a half of nothing. Everyone who was passionate about the show, Kenny, the cast, the crew, the Fantoms, no one wanted it to end this way. I hope that this petition will make an impact and we will get to see their story progress. Stand tall Fantoms.

Its stories, dynamic characters and the fans sparked my creativity like never before and has made me understand myself better than i thought possible. I remember just seeing this show on my Netflix one day and I really don’t know why I clicked it but I am so happy I did and as soon as I started watching it I had a connection with the show. I don’t really know how to explain it but this show just made me happy and I showed it to my cousin and she loved it just as much as I did and we would watch it over and over. We listened to the music over a millions times and danced through some choreography from the show, it genuinely made us smile, laugh, and happy. Last year we we even dressed up as Alex and Luke for Halloween and made hotdogs. Considering my age (I’m 16) you wouldn’t think this show would be much of an interest just looking at it but it had such an impact on me, I never thought that the show would be cancelled and when I heard the news I cried. It’s not even just the show it’s the impact that the cast had on me as well they are all so uplifting, funny and inspiring. All of the lives they would do would literally get me through the day with happiness. The show won so many awards because of the fans and we all watched the show so many times so that we could have another season. I really don’t understand why netflix would cancel it and I really just want a reason to why I feel like it would help a lot if we all knew the reason. I will always love Julie and the Phantoms ❤️

When the pandemic started, we had zoom online for school. My sisters and I have separate rooms, and since we were always doing homework or at school, we barely saw each other. One of my sisters is a binge watcher of everything, and one of the shows that she watched was JATP. Soon after, my cousins had watched it as well as the rest of my sisters. Around july-ish I had finally decided to watch the show out of curiosity. I was in a really dark place at the time, but the characters and the songs and the humor really changed me. I may be dramatic, but the show kind of changed my perception on life, and how lucky I was to be able to live my life right now when so many people sadly can't. I had the option to live, so why would I try to end it??? I also felt represented in the way that they had lgbtqia+ characters, and that wasn't their whole personality, as you would often see in other media, especially media marketed towards kids. The whole being gay thing wasn't the main plot point, and was treated the same as the other romances going on in the show. JATP is really special, and didn't deserve to end like this <3

I haven’t felt this way over a show in so long, everyone in the cast means so much to me and the characters as well! Kenny always knows how to bring a cast together and make the characters come to life and not only does he deserve to see this series accomplished but so does every single person working on the show!!! Now, I don’t know the struggles of some people, I will admit. I live in a healthy environment with tons of great friends, though I can empathize with those who don’t. But this show made me feel safe. Safe from what, I don’t know, but it made me feel safe. It’s an escape from school and stress and everything. I am technically the target audience, being a kid myself (won’t reveal age but between 11-14) and one thing that I love so much about it is the queer representation it gives to kids my age and older. I myself and bisexual and genderfluid and seeing a gay character on screen, that has personality other than being the gay side character just used for rep means a lot to me. I love the examples of different types of friendships, and it showing the struggles of friendships and school ect. I can’t think of much else to say, but this show and cast means more to me than I can put into words. Get your act together Netflix.

From the first episode I knew this story was something special. Each episode I fell more and more in love with the show, the characters, and the story. It helped me feel inspired that I can do anything. I also love the lgbtq+ main characters, which is something we don’t often see. It taught me how to deal with loss and how other people’s pain helped them grow into better people. I really hope they bring JATP back, and it gets picked up again by another network at least. Julie is the reason I even survived my quarantine. That show managed to bring back my love for singing and playing guitar when I had no motivation for either. I got so invested in the characters and every part of myself I saw in them. They need to solve their unfinished business before the story can even be close to over.

The moment JatP entered into my life, I felt awake again. I was reading fanfics non-stop, and if I wasn't reading, I was writing them myself. It got me out of a months long writer's block, it healed my heart after the worst heartbreak of my life. JatP makes me laugh, it makes me smile, it lets me cry when I need to. This show is a safe haven in the shit show that is the world's state right now. It's empowering and kind and like a hug from your best friend. It's so unapologetically queer and representative, and it's naturally so - it's the kind of show we need more of. It lets me dream, and it keeps inviting me into this wonderful world Kenny and every person who gave their heart and all to the show created. Netflix, please don't steal our souls from us. Don't give us unfinished business.

One day when I was scrolling through Netflix wondering what would come out next, I saw a new show that was supposed to come out in a week or two. That show was Julie and the Phantoms. I had school the day it came out so I decided to start watching it on the weekend. I loved the show. I thought that it was one of the best shows Netflix had to offer. I also was one of the only people I knew who saw it. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I come across the JATP Tumblr. I remember that every night I would check it. I remember watching all of the cast’s Instagram lives on YouTube. I remember discovering fan fiction and reading anything the fandom had to offer. I remember my brother placing a bet on me that I would stop obsessing over JATP that December. Spoiler alert, I won the bet. I remember that I watched more interviews for this show than any show or movie before. I have met so many great YouTubers who’ve reacted to the show and the music from the show. This show inspired me to write music and now in a couple of weeks, I will be showing my whole school a song I wrote. So please, I love this show and the cast of it with all my heart and I need more.

Looking back, there was so much white, hetero content on tv and I lived in a very white, hetero area that I was never really exposed to diversity as a child. This show not only has a diverse cast, it has a poc lead and a queer relationship that is interral to the plot and is mixed race. The amount of representation and care that went into this show is amazing. I fell in love with the show after the first watch, and watched it many times after. But I fell deeper in love with how much the cast and crew loved the show and how much they care about it. Please, please, bring it back. Please.

A constant sound a constant light, that continues to shine through despite the darkness of the night and this sickly blight, that continues to smite those we have only ever sought what’s right with all their might. This chime that continues to ring as it echoes through the ending spring and though it’s not young it still brings such love, joy, and endless songs to sing. It matters not how the wolf may howl at the beautiful moon, cursing it to come down from it’s shining cocoon, as it will realize quite and very soon, that it will rise to become so large and amazing that it’s howls will barely even make a sound or a boom. It matters not what doubters may say about this…this absolute light! That shines ever so brightly DESPITE the darkness of the night! That LIFTS the hearts and souls of others and carries them out of the gutters of despair and hopelessness, and makes it so much easier for them to utter their truths for the world to hear. Makes it so much easier for us to cope with our feelings of fear and things we’ve been dealing with for too many years. As they hound us each and every day…making it harder and harder to convey what we want to say. But it matters not…no it doesn’t matter at all. If people think it’s our own downfall we stall. Because this show, this beautiful, shining, and wonderful thing that continues to simply be through the ending spring. Opens the compassion and hope people have locked away in their hearts that now gleam—with love, joy, and endless songs to sing.💜

JATP wasn’t a show to me, it was so much more than that…it was my family and my home. I cannot begin to express how heartbroken I am right now, and this pain will never go away. I owe my life to this incredible show, if it wasn’t for Julie and her Phantoms I wouldn’t be here right now. Each episode is so magical in it’s own way, the characters are so loveable and relatable, and this show has inspired me and so many others to feel like we can do anything. Anything Kenny Ortega touches really does turn to gold! The fact that the show ended with so many unresolved storylines and had so much more to tell is what breaks me the most, as if us Fantoms don’t try whatever we can to save our show, we’ll never see Julie grow, never know why the boys could touch her, never see another band moment, never see what happens to Juke and Willex’s relationship, never know what happens to Nick once Caleb takes control over him, never know Alex or Reggie’s backstories and so much more. I can’t guarantee we’ll be able to bring our beloved show back to us, but I know I for one will do anything it takes as I can’t live without this show, cast and characters who have become more than the world to me, so please continue to spread this petition and stand tall 💜

I discovered it mid-pandemic. It was so amazing to see a girl of color on TV, and that was not her main personality trait. Seeing Flynn and Julie as powerful woc best friends is so amazing, because we NEVER see it. My sisters (then eight) were so happy to see a girl who was mixed-race on the TV.
I fell so far in love with the characters, and the whole fandom helped me make wonderful new friends. Seeing Alex and Willie fall in love, and being gay isn’t either of their main personality, is so amazing. Also, a character with anxiety? and a male? that was something I was so excited to see, as someone with anxiety myself.
The music pulls me out of dark times, if I’m stressed or anxious, or feeling sad at all, listening to the soundtrack helps lift my spirits so much.
Also, the cast and crew are so talented, they deserve this. What they (especially Madi) didn’t deserve, was to film one season, become a family, and then have another season dangled over their heads for over a year, before Netflix dropped the bomb while they were at a fan convention that they didn’t have it anymore.
If they don’t do it for us, at least do it for them.

julie and the phantoms has been close to my heart since it was released last year. it brought me through a hard time after lockdown and i’m extremely disheartened to see it go. the fact that this show has a story centred around characters of colour and queer relationships gave me hope that we were finally getting representation in media. netflix seems to be cancelling the shows that have the best representation and bring new ideas to the table and its absolutely infuriating.

My mum died in 2017 (I was 12 then, 16 now) and I’ve been singing and songwriting since a very young age. I always felt very connected to Julie when the show came out because I could understand her troubles with falling out of love with music due to grief. However, hearing unsaid Emily for the first time, it was like I was hearing all of my feelings written in a song about everything I wish I had told my mum. It means more to me than I can ever explain. I also struggle with anxiety, but I know that when I put the show on I can just let myself get lost in the characters and be somewhere other than my own head for a while.

I owe so much to this show, the cast and the crew and I could never find the words to thank all of them enough. I hope another streaming service takes it on, it means too much to me and so many others for this to be the end 🥺

Edge of Great

Edge of great as a song really meant something to me. Actually, having that and Finally Free were just so perfect in a way I can’t explain. Finally Free feels like a queer anthem, it feels like being accepted and supported and being allowed to exist rather than just being tolerated. So many shows don’t seem to get the fact that gay people exist, and they don’t have to do anything else. We’re not here to serve a plot, we’re just trying to live our lives. In JATP, Alex is gay, but that’s just a part of who he is. He’s a drummer, he’s a bandmate, he’s a brother, he’s a friend. He’s not the ‘token gay’. He’s just Alex. “Been so long and now I’m finally free,” feels like… it feels like coming home.

Edge of great? Julie performs that song in the colours of the bi flag (whether that was intentional or not), proudly singing “be who you are, no compromise” almost feels to me like an individual message of i’m proud of you. i accept you. be who you are. This probably sounds cheesy, but you know what I mean.

Netflix, why cancel JATP just when it’s on the Edge of Great? You had a chance to make something better than you ever have. If you’re willing to give that up and instead promote things like Kissing Booth 10, or Riverdale season 45… then you clearly don’t know your viewers. Not even a little bit.

JATP is more than a show

I assumed when my old roommate texted me the video for Now or Never that it would be a cute thing to watch - I usually like her taste in music and shows. I didn't expect to end my first watch sobbing with every emotion imaginable ready to pour out of my entire being. I'm a little older than most of the fan base, and I had been forced into a really low state during the pandemic: jobless, homeless, depressed, and in an environment where I couldn't truly be myself or feel entirely safe. I had grown up with music in my whole family, but since fallen out of practice and lacking a reason to do anything. Hearing Julie sing Wake Up took a grip on my heart and it has never let go - I hope it doesn't for a long time. I wasn't able to jump into things right away again. My journey has been slow, even still. But through this show I discovered the spark I needed, understood my own identity more, and have been able to branch out in other creative ways. It introduced people into my life that are everything to me now. It told me hiding away didn't have to be my life, and that I could become who I wanted to. Alex and Willie helped me guide myself into a better understanding of the LGBT community and my place within it. Luke had me look at the mistakes in my past and forgive myself. Reggie is sunshine for the soul. Even minor characters have developed their own meaning for me and how I can overcome similar struggles as theirs in my own life. Ray is the parent I hope to be if I get the chance. I've let my pain and confusion drag me down long enough, and within the JATP community I've been given the strength and courage to keep moving up. My experience is similar to that of many fans. We've each seen greater potential inside ourselves thanks to Julie, and we are fighting to live up to it together. This show has moved past entertainment and into pure art and a tool for bringing people together to achieve more than we can on our own. We still have a lot of energy to give, so we don't give up quite so easily.

JATP is marked as only a kids show, but it is so much more than that. JATP allows people to truly be their selves and not afraid to be who they are. This show shows everything that people go through in a daily lives, and show it not like a checklist that they have to do to get good ratings, but instead they put everything in their so we can truly relate to something, if not everything. Not only have they been up for many awards, but they have won a bunch of awards and has been in the top ten on Netflix a bunch a times for a while. They did all this within one season when other shows can’t even do all of this seasons after season. Madison Reyes already has won amazing awards and this is her very first production. Why would you get rid of that talent without giving a true shot at the show?

Netflix, stop getting rid shows that people like and replacing them with shows that people have no interest in or with shows with very low ratings. JATP deserves more seasons and has showed it. You have got rid of so many amazing shows and you have lost ratings and subscriptions because of it. Don’t keep making the same mistake. Listen to the people.

At first I was just bored at 5 am when I stumbled across this show, I was in a bad place in life. This show brought happiness to my heart and I kept watching it over and over. I have never felt more connected to a show like I have for JATP. I relate to many of these characters and all my friends are in love with this show. it's hard to know where to even start when i'm talking about this show. julie and her phantoms came into my life when i had just been starting to process certain aspects of both my identity and my surroundings. i've always been rather young at heart, so right off the bat it felt like my type of show-- but i never could've imagined just how much more it would be.

i had been consuming and hyperfixating on media for years but not once have i felt such close connections to any character as i have to multiple characters here. i particularly connected very strongly to the phantoms-- my connection to them helped me slowly come to terms with my masc lean, which i'd been shoving down since my early teens. i connected to luke's passion and his layered relationship with his mother, to alex's anxieties and struggles with a homophobic family, and to reggie's waning attention span and his traumas from arguing parents.

as i delved deep into their characters, i found i'd also learned a lot about myself, and observing the story they told inspired a new drive to create stories that were all my own. it was in this that i started to join servers on discord and eventually make a tumblr. this brought friendships i never imagined having, but now i could never imagine losing them. this fandom is a family i never knew i needed-- i have almost no one to trust irl, so i can't even begin to express my gratitude to the friendships i have here.

julie and her boys helped me find my voice, my identity-- and then theirs got taken by netflix. they gave me my stories, but theirs has been cut short. as long as there's a glimmer of hope, i will be fighting for this show and for these characters. #nounfinishedbusiness

julie and the phantoms is my confert show. since it's been canceled I feel like I can't watch it or listen to the songs without sobbing. nothing quite feels real anymore either and the show ends on a pretty big cliffhanger. there are so many questions left unanswered and problems unresolved. this show has ment alot to so many people for so many reasons. the cast, crew, and fans deserve so mich better than to wait over a year for it to just be canceled. the story isn't over and I'm not ready to execpt that it could be. Netflix canceling it over a year since it's come out without a good reason why considering how good the show has done and the constant support for it is wild. I'm not ready to say goodbye to all the wonderful characters, actors, moments that were and could've been. this show needs at least a season 2 to properly rap up the story. we need more.

I really love the cast and crew who worked on the show especially when watching behind the scenes footage. Kenny Oretega did an amazing job directing them and the show is so good.

As an Indian kid growing up in a mainly white town, it was difficult to fit in. Having little to no representation on TV, I didn't always see myself in those main characters.. as much as I did with Julie Molina.
I browsed the catalog and one day I stumbled across Julie and the Phantoms. It was like magic because it really drew me in the first time I saw the trailer. As if I needed to watch it. And I did.. in one night I watched all the episodes.
That wasn't the end of it though.
That particular time in my life last year was one of the most stressful and uncertain. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life yet, what career I wanted to pursue.
I knew it was something creative, since art and singing is most of my life.
I grew up with awful stage fright. Even now, I get really freaked out singing in front of a lot of people. But I knew I wanted to do it somehow so I kept doing it as a hobby or singing to myself in spare time. I feel like Julie and the Phantoms really struck a chord with me and my appreciation for music.

I constantly rewatched this show (through reactions AND watching it officially.. over and over) during a rough patch in my life. Which was online semesters for my art college. Sadly that didn't work out but.. it kept me sane before class when the Zoom logo would be loading and my hands would be shaking. But it kept a smile on my face when it played.
Also kind of personal but Alex was one of those characters that helped me feel more comfortable in myself for being pansexual. I knew I wasn't straight all my life but it's hard to accept yourself sometimes. He (and Willie) are one of my favorites ♡

And Julie.. Madison Reyes.. I could write an essay about how talented this girl is.
How many times I hopped around my house singing to the soundtrack of JATP is hard to count. Her voice is INCREDIBLE and inspired me so much to keep singing, even if no one hears it. That's okay because I love it so deeply in my heart.

I don't know.. when I found out the news I broke. Even now, I'm almost in tears as I type this.

From how much influence this show has, it makes no sense for it to be cancelled.

They still have so much to show us. The songs they worked on together as a group for season 2. The character development and story directions this could have gone.

I'm sorry but some of the shows that have been renewed had more of a negative response and didn't bring as much joy as this show did.

The world needs more good things. It needs shows like this.
It needs awesome women of colour for main characters too!

All I know is I'm so proud of the entire cast and crew. And to the best director in the world.. Kenny! Thank you for bringing so much magic into our lives

For me personally, it's inspired me to chase my dreams, music especially. I've joined an orchestra, and had so many great experiences. This show literally changed my life so much. Kenny did an amazing job with helping pick the cast members. At first when watching the trailer for it I judged a book by its cover and was like “this is not it” 😂😂 but it was. We soon met them and fell in love and I started to feel loved and like I was apart of the cast especially with all the behind the scenes thanks to our Jatp fan club President himself Paul Becker .. This show has completely changed my life. I was so sad about a situation that happened. I had no idea if I would ever feel better. After jatp was mentioned many times, I finally decided to watch it. Whenever I needed a boost to help, I would watch a video or listen to the songs and immediately felt better. I have never loved a show more and thank everyone who worked on this project. However, it is not all about me. This show deserves a continuation because the cast and crew are the best. They have done so well and brought the story to life. When the world was going through a pandemic, Julie and the phantoms gave me some form of safety. Watching the show gave me so much peace, made quarantine so much fun and helped a lot with my low mood swings. Being a woman of color, it was important for me to show and see Madison as the lead character. She inspired me to be creative and not to give up on my dreams. And right now my dream is to get JATP for at least a few more seasons and i'm not giving up on that. The cast is incredible and this fantom is super supportive. Julie and the phantoms came out right when I needed it to! It has helped me get through the darkest time of my life! It means hope, love, laughter and friendship to me. To me julie and the phantoms is the best way to show how I think music can connect us and have us come together! Its exactly why I love music above everything else in the world! I honestly don't know how to express enough how this show has helped me through the dark days. This show has expressed so much for all of us. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety as well as grief for years. 2020 was a huge downfall for me as I was losing hope with myself had no motivation left nothing til sept 12th 2020 I decided to put JATP on and the first song now or never right away made me feel like I was In the 90s again and made me happy from the start. As I'm watching I noticed how relatable everything to me was especially how well I can relate to Julie, Luke, Reggie and Alex. I watch all 9 episodes in a day and fell in love immediately with the series. Like I said i can't express it enough just how much this show has changed us and helped us through dark times. Kenny Ortega and his team did everything right for this show. Thanks to the cast and crew they are the reason Ive made so many friends around the world cause of JATP. The fantom family I would never trade for anything else. My reason to keep moving forward in life throigh their music. Really wish season 2 was picked up.

When my friend told me about jatp, tht it was one of Kenny Ortega's works I freaked out. as a Kenny fan, I was super excited. I finally got money to sign Netflix up and watch it. when I watched it, I couldn't stop. I watched the whole series in one day. and jatp truly changed my life. I was in a bad phase where I was almost giving up life and jatp taught me to stand tall. it showed me the power of music, and since then I really got into music and got back playing the guitar and the piano. my life has another meaning right now. Ever since I watched Julie
and the Phantoms for the first time I felt as if I finally had an outlet. An outlet for my
emotional and physical pain to be pushed aside where it wasn't as prevalent in my head while I
watched. I was completely submerged into the storyline. The songs throughout the show are so
meaningful and represent so much when you really listen to the lyrics. In some ways I wish the
JATP characters were real so I could be friends with them, as they care so much about each
other and they're so down to earth. And in other ways I'm glad it's not, as this was a
groundbreaking show that the world needs extremely bad. Plus, Madison, Charlie, Owen, and
Jeremy are SO BEYOND TALENTED and I'm so grateful that they got their chance to shine. I
have never felt understood in the social aspect of life and I've had medical issues for as long as I
can remember. But the lyrics within JATP are almost magical and make me feel like I'm
understood. And since watching, I've started to do the things I love again. I've been making fan
art almost all day, every day and I really want to pick up playing the piano and guitar again. For
so long I'd lost my inspiration to do things that are creative as not feeling good all the time is
exhausting, but it's felt really good to find my passions again! All I can say is that this show is the reason I got the courage to follow my dreams and has led me to make SO MANY FRIENDS!!!

This was one of the first shows I had ever had a connection with. 2020 was hard for everyone and this show for me helped me get through it. Kenny, Maddison, Charlie, Owen, Jeremy, Jadah, Savannah, Cheyenne, Sacha, Tori, everyone are extremely loving, caring, hard working, and devoted people that deserve the world. Sure to some people it's just another show, but it's so much more than that. Not just to me, but a lot of another Fantoms. It brought so many people joy in times of sadness, hope in times of despair, and so much more. I just ask Netflix if they're not going to take the time to renew an amazing show that deserves so much better than it was given, to give it to another company if they want it. JATP means a lot to me, specially because my grandmother passed away my grandmother was a musician and she brought music to me. She inspired me to chase my dreams no matter what others thought of it. She inspired me to create music that inspires not only me but inspires others to chase their dreams. And when she passed away all those memories rushed through and I just couldn’t touch any music item for years. I even tried to get back into singing or writing music again but nothing worked, everything just reminded me of how much it hurt when she passed away. And I felt if I ever shared my music with anyone me and my grandmas bond would flow away. I felt music was something that brought us together so me writing music again just felt like I was betraying that. But then after so many years passed JATP came out, and it seemed interesting so I watched it. When I tell you that season was the best season I’ve ever watched I mean it. I felt so close to what Julie had gone through when her mother passed away, and as Julie was learning how to cope she was also teaching me how to cope. JATP taught me that it’s okay to feel hurt but embrace it. After that I finally touched my grandmothers guitar and out of no where the lyrics came back again. Julie and the Phantoms is like a treasure I found from just ramdomly browsing netflix. Watching the very first episode, I was immediately hooked, from the first song to it's amaizing story. I fell in love with JATP and was waiting eagerly for it's season 2.

So why the hell would Netflix cancel such an amaizing show? JATP means something special to everyone who watched it. It inspired us. I just really can't understand them for cancelling such a wonderful story and not even explaining why.

Like how I learned to "Never give up on the things that you love", like how Julie brought back music to her life then I also won't give up on JATP since I love them, the show, the cast, the songs, and everyone behind it aside from Netflix. SO I WILL STAND TALL..

This show has helped me do so much. It helped me get back into learning and playing piano and ukulele, and made me start learning to play guitar. I started learning to skateboard after I hurt my ankle quite badly a few years ago, and most importantly it helped me find a family that I have been missing. It helped me discover my true identity, and helped me come out to my parents. Hell it even helped me pick my new name. I am thankful for everything, not just that this show has done, but that the community around it has done, making everyone feel safe and welcomed.

It was always the gay person who was killed or the “queer side character” that didn’t matter. But then Kenny Ortega created a show that changed all of this. Not only that, but the main character is a wonderful Woman of color. All of this is so great and JATP needs a season two for all the children who see themselves in it. But after the first episode and seeing how Madison, Julie, portrayed a girl who lost her passion bc of a traumatic experience really resonated with me. Julie and The Phantoms needs to be renewed, this show helped me when i was going through a hard time. I had lost my dad a little before the show was released, and the comfort, friendships and happiness that this show gave me made me feel so much better. This show not only helped me, but it helped so many others, this show deserves to be renewed and given the second season. All the fans were patient for over a year, we waited and we wished, hoped and begged netflix. There’s so many amazing lessons this show provided younger viewers, and it even gave a sense of comfort to an even older audience. JatP is a show that promotes and normalizes representation in the LGBTQ+ and POC community. Jatp pretty much got me through the rough times, I struggle with my mental health and coming across jatp is one thing I'm massively grateful for. I can't put into words just how much this show means to me, as well as how much it's done for me.

I've always hoped for a second season and I would do anything to bring it back. I haven't been able to process the fact that it's been cancelled, but I still hope that there's a chance somehow that it's not over yet.

It takes alot of time and begging to get my older sister to watch a show with me and when i finally got her to watch jatp she feel inlove with it she follows Jeremy Shada's wife on Instagram and she saved songs to her playlist. Juile and the phantoms is that rare show that was ment for kids but was loved by teens and adults, meaning that it's something that everyone loved to watch. I don't even know where to start. JATP is more than just a show. It's a life story! A life story that wasn't finished being told. Watching this show made me smile, cry, mad and laugh. All things a good show should make you feel. I connected to a lot of the characters and felt similar to situations this show brought up and made even more real. I've lost many family members the past 2 years and miss them and regret a lot so I can relate to both Julie and Luke because they both miss their moms and can't show the love they wish they could to them. I've seen so many comments everywhere from young people and older saying they love this show. Shows like these should never be cancelled until the full story is shared and made. I just want this relatable show to be brought back to give me back my smile from how amazing the show is. I will forever love JATP just hope I don't get let down not having it back. I've never seen such an awesome series like JATP. After I finished it, I persuaded 6 friends to watch it, learned all the songs by heart and looked at it 3 more times. 1. Julie and the Phantoms - one of the few shows that displays inclusivity naturally and seamlessly throughout the course of events within the show. PEOPLE FEEL SEEN.
2. Music includes and changes EVERYONE. Julie spoke about how the guys came into her life brought her, brought her back to music, and filled her sorrowful days with joy again. I can't imagine how many people relate to Julie because of this show.
3. Covid times are sad and desperate times. Think about how many show exist and came out during the pandemic and then think about which ones really make a difference. The list becomes smaller... JATP HEALS.
4. JATP is centered around FAMILY. Family looks different for everyone and is the foundation for who we are. What an extremely important lesson to be reminded of.

Now after all of these points and the other comments written by viewers, why then would Netflix give up on this beautiful project? What a shame... I know another streaming site will recognize the opportunity to capitalize on this widely popular show.

ive never really had a want to make or create music. and after a year of hearing about julie and the phantoms i still havent. while that may sound like the opposite of what this padlet is for.... julie and the phantoms did so much more for me aside from that I remember listening to wake up for the first time. i cired and cried on my mom bed. happy tears ofc. when it was over I all of a sudden had the motivation to do what ever I needed to do. it inspired me. i wasn't in a good place physically or mentally but somehow a show for eight year olds make it all better. i am a happier person and I am so grateful for what netflix has given us.

Julie and The Phantoms is such a great show. I started out watching the show and not liking it but once I heard Julie sing "Wake Up", I was amazed. She has an amazing voice. I started loving this show and I have watched it a bunch of times and will do the same. :)

Before watching the show, I had struggles with suicide. I have a similar relationship with my parents, like Luke does on the show. Coming out as nonbinary to my mom did not go well, she practically disowned me! With my struggling depression, my mind was on way too many things, sort of like Reggie's attention span. In my opinion, I feel like I can relate to the 3 ghosts, and Charlie, Owen, and Jeremy all do a FANTASTIC job portraying them. Maddison Rayes (Julie) had so much on an impact on my life, because she auditioned for JATP at my age! She basically showed me that, if I believe, and try hard enough, I can do the things I love! All of these amazing characters hold a special place in my heart, and not having a continuation with the story line seems wrong! I keep asking myself: "What's gonna happen to Nick?!" "Are the phantoms alive again" and so many more questions. Even if Netflix could do JUST ONE MORE season, it would make me feel a tiny bit better. BUT I would love it if Disney+, or any other streaming sight, would pick it up, and have many more amazing seasons to come!

My whole life, I've been treated differently and bullied. Watching this show was the only thing that saved me from killing myself. I felt seen and like many others, Unsaid Emily spoke to me. The cast is absolutely amazing, each and every one of them being kind and sweet to their fans and this show. I truly wish this show to be continued, but I just wish for JATP to RIP, we all love you dearly. I no longer watch netflix.

I know I am not the only person who can't put into words on how much I love JATP, everything about it is exactly what we need to be teaching our generation, as someone who found comfort in this show like almost everyone during the hard time that is covid. While I don't have as big of a connection as I am seeing others have I do want to say that this story, plot, characters and overall feeling of this show is one of if not the best netflix has made and I think that it's stupid of them to cancel this show that has given so many people the courage to step out and to stand tall. While it was meant to be a kids show it has grown and been loved by adults and teens as well. It promotes positive LBTQ+ representation and handles grief really well without being overbearing. It also focus's on trust and relationships without having the relationship be the main part of the show. It promotes standing up for yourself and following your dreams, and it shows the main character a female with latian descent as the star and not some whitewashed character like other shows. For anyone of any sexuality, gender, race it promotes you to follow your dreams. And the cast couldn't be any sweeter in this sense. Don't forget it has a outed gay character and we suspect the rest of the characters are LBTQ as well!!! And it left us so many cliffhangers like why!!!!!!!!!! I love this show so lets all do out part and convince not even netflix but DISNEY to take this show to the level and love it deserves!!!!! WHOSE WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!! I was browsing through Netflix a few days ago and I came across JATP, I was stunned by the actors' singing voices and the songs themselves; one of the best musical series I have ever seen! I was pretty bummed though, when I realized Netflix had canceled season 2. This was only the beginning for this show.. I heard that there were places where I can show support for the show so here I am. I know it's already 2022 and it's probably harder for JATP to produce another season and for Netflix (or any other platform) to accept it, but I'll cross my fingers and continue to show support for this amazing show!

I'm so glad the's a space like this where we can express our love for this show, as well as our disappointment with Netflix. Julie and the Phantoms was absolutely slighted. It makes me so angry that the execs over there boast of Netflix's representation and diversity, but don't care enough to continue supporting these things past their max money-making point. Shame on you, Netflix, and may JATP live forever.

I first saw julie and the phantoms in October 2020, when my sister recommended I watch the series. I didn't have high hopes but I remember the excitement I felt with each episode and how happy I was that afternoon enjoying it with my sister. I am an editor and have had an instagram account since 2018, so of course I started editing JATP. I started getting a lot more support on my account and enjoyed the editing process with the series a thousand times more. I was very inspired and happy. Around February I started a huge project to save JATP in which thousands of people and even the cast of the series participated. I stopped editing a few months ago and JATP became a bit distant from my life as well. When I received the news in December, I was devastated. I felt sad and angry because I couldn't make sense of the cancellation of the series, everything we had fought for had been for nothing and yet they kept renewing seasons of series that, to be honest, are not needed. I guess we must continue to have faith and think that, if we all continue united, we will achieve almost impossible things.

Julie and the phantoms is the last tv show i got to watch with my grandma before she suddenly died in november. She, along with the entirety of my family LOVED this show and it really helped me find a group of friends at the school i was transferred to because there were people that had seen the show and loved it just as much as i did. My sister and i like to sing and arrange harmonies and stuff so we did that with every. single. song. from this soundtrack and we performed for my extended family many times. As an American living in Germany with a mother that was a teenager in the 90’s, my daughter has watched the entire episodes from season 1 six times now. She is a HUGE fan and has all of the songs memorized. JATP was such a powerful show for many of us bridging the gap between millennials and Generation Z, it brought back the nostalgia of the 90’s infused with modern day elements that made it very fresh, the music was appealing and catchy. The characters were relatable yet different to each other and featured an array of talented individuals. The fact that the cast have now altered there looks adds another plot line to the show- the fact that ghosts perhaps age or change appearance/clothes could resemble the fact they have been giving their souls/energy back- I mean it’s a different concept that may have open appeared in Teen Spirit but perhaps an interesting one to explore, plus there are many unanswered questions that need answering and if it does get lit one would love to send over some of there talent and even perhaps get an exclusive feature with one of the cast members- from yours Origins Of CJM

It’s not just a Netflix original series, but so much more. The show was directed by one of the best directors ever. Kenny Ortega directed all three High School Musical’s, and Descendants, he was also part of Dirty Dancing, he is definitely one of the best and knows what he’s doing. The show gave Inspiration to people all around the world, including me. I learned how to play a couple of the songs from the show on the piano. The show also gave me a new obsession…Charlie Gillespie, Jk, not really, I meant the show. It was a show that I thought I wouldn’t get into, but after I binge watched the whole thing in one night, I knew my life would never be the same. My life has literally never been the same, there are literally JATP stickers all over my room which weren’t there before. I feel that the show really touched my heart, and I know I’m not the only one. I have probably seen the show more than 30 times since the first. When I had finished watching it the first time I said “ If they don’t make a season 2 I’m deleting my Netflix account!” And as soon as I found out that they weren’t going to make another one I did just that. Netflix lost a loyal customer. 😂 The show also gave the star of the show her debut. Which I think is very important, she now has a reputation, and this show will go on her résumé for future projects. This show will determine her success, and it has, since the show was released she has been very successful, she released her own song with her costar Jahda Marie. I call that success. This show will go down in history, and it already has. This show is a part of me now, and can’t be removed.

This was one of the few original series that I love on Netflix, in fact it is the first on my list. The first time I hesitated to see it but after seeing the trailer a million times I was convinced and I couldn't stop watching it, literally! I don't know why Netflix canceled it if this series won the love of the fandom, Emmy awards, 5 starts and was also a trend in profile for all public.

My favorite series in the world. Why? Well, this series accompanied me during the pandemic and made me laugh and have good times also at the same time when I had difficult times, it made me relax, feel calm and it is the only series that I have been able to really connect with. The songs AH! oh my god they are the best thing I've ever heard I can't get them out of my head when I go to sleep I play their playlist and sing them, they make me get up from my chair and start dancing (which is very rare for me). And it's for everyone because not only teenagers and children watch this but also adults. I recommended it to my grandmother and my little brother and they also connects to the series, my brother does not stop singing the song is very cute. So it's for everyone from the youngest child to the oldest adult.

Also another thing that I loved were the characters, each character had a different character, for example Reggie is the one who makes us laugh, Alex is the one who is the most delicate in matters (I love them), Luke makes us connect with the music, Flynn, she is the friend we dream of and Julie, not to mention she is the representation of when we lose someone we care about that hurts us but we have to keep moving forward and keep the memories happy to keep that person alive in our hearts. And I love that this series supports the LGBT community and that is a gesture that you don't see every day.

What inspires me? I am inspired to play the piano because when Julie plays it so magically and, incredible, and not being afraid to sing and follow my dreams, I also put this series in English to listen and improve my vocabulary in English and that does not happen often.

And finally, the relationship between Julie and Luke is incredible, it is not the classy story where the characters fall in love and live happily ever after, no, this story leaves us wanting more to see this relationship, how it can progress and the complications that are happening because not everything is easy, well at least not in this series.

That's all and Netflix WE ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE UP and we are going to wait for that "yes" from you because this series deserves it and we are going to insist until we see the trailer for season 2.

Hey. I am a loyal Fantom of JATP and adore the show. I am 14yrs old and Julie And The Phantoms is my life. This show is so inspirational and promotes the lgbtq+ society as, may not be 100% true but, we know that Alex (played by Owen Patrick Joyner) is a Gay character along with Willie (Booboo Stewart) as his love interest. It may also be a fact that Reggie (Jeremy Shada) is a Bisexual character seen when Luke sings 'Edge of Great' to him to make the point that Luke has chemistry with everyone he sings with and not just Julie. We may also make the suggestion that Luke may be Pansexual as some say he has showed romantic guestures to Alex, Reggie, Julie, and even Willie!
Some people think Julie is Straight While others see a slightly Fruity side to her personality.

Kenny Ortega, Executive Producer of JATP, has put in so much hard work and effort making this family friendly, musical series, suitable for all ages and with an incredible cast, who have also worked so hard on making this series the best it can be.
I really do hate Netflix for not renewing Julie and the Phantoms, and this is not even a joke!

Hey I am a JATP fantom and I am 10 years old and I am still in love with the show.
Madison Reyes is new to this whole acting thing but every time she smashes it.
Charlie Gillespie has a great singing voice and is always on point.
Jadah Marie has such a funny sense of humour and always knows how to cheer you up when your down.
Jeremy Shada is actually nothing like his character but is perfect for reggie’s cast.
Owen Patrick Joyner is probably the one who is most like his character, Alex.

It’s not just because this is an amazing show, with talented people who have awesome acting skills, a skilled director and songs you can replay forever and still love.
JATP helped me reestablish my connection to music as well, and that is why I’ll forever be grateful for this show. I understand Netflix is a huge company and gets so many requests, and that JATP probably isn’t on the top of their priority and seems rather inadequate compared to their other projects, but can’t you see how much fans adore this show? Julie and the phantoms have changed my life in a month. I saw it on my feed and a Band with ghosts sounds scary so I skipped it But, I decided not to judge it by its cover and watched it and my life changed completely. The night I saw episode one, I contacted my teacher helping with the competition and I was like "I don't want to sing Rihanna heck it IM SINGING WAKE UP BY THE GOD." He was so confused and when he heard it he was speechless for the whole 5 MINS. The reason was that for 4 months we both had been trying to find a song for my range. I should stop talking about me now srry!!!

At first I wasn’t sure if I’d like the show but once I watched the full show it blew my mind that I ever doubted it. I love the songs they inspire me and put a smile on my face when I’m sad and I keep rewatching it. I love how they have a variety of people that fit with LGBTQ+ community. They felt the show on a big cliff hanger and I am dying to know what happens. It kills me that they cancelled it and I’m am doing a lot of things to help save it and you should too. Plus I wanna see what happens with Luke and Julie. So PLS BRING IT BACK!!!!

I'm really upset that I am just now seeing this amazing show. after the first episode I fell in love with JATP. It is now my go-to show to watch. The chemistry in the cast, the songs, the acting, the storyline, everything!! Once I got to the last episode and realized it was a cliffhanger i got really excited for the next season. So I went to google and typed in the search bar "When will JATP Season 2 be out?". The first thing to come up was that there is no plans for JATP with Netflix. I was and still am heartbroken about this news. this show has great potential. Just the fanbase is HUGE. No show has ever made me laugh, cry, cringe, or smile so much in one setting. JATP's story isn't over yet. I don't know what everyone else is thinking but I sure do know that I NEED MORE OF THIS SERIES. I NEED to know what happens(Especially with #Juke) . I've been watching this show everyday for the past 3 weeks. All of the cast and crew members have put in so much hard work for this series.

So Please Netflix, Renew JATP they've worked too hard on this show for it to not continue. #SAVE JATP

The Brazilian version I loved it, and now the American version besides bringing back sweet memories, it touched my heart, just when I thought I should give up, it really motivated me to continue, I wish they had not added the part that left me intrigued, they would have just closed it, but now that they didn't, I want them to at least make a second season or at least a special chapter that gives a definitive closure. Please, they would do very well. It was a touching series and I would like to have some more of it. Give it an epic closure, because it deserves it. Plus I miss luke hahaha

Never have I ever encountered a show so relatable that made me cry tears of sadness and joy in one sitting!! There is something magical in the songs and the bonds between the actors and actresses!! I believe having a second (and maybe a third 🤞) season will renew our faith in a show that brings both song and heart into our lives. The cast and crew have done phenomenal work and to have them continue doing what they love with the bonds they created together are the cherries on top!! Sometimes I wonder if Netflix really wants to fail and ruin their reputation. Why? Because they seem to have an affinity for canceling their highest rated and most beloved shows. Instead, they insist on putting out absolute garbage and renewing it again.. and again… and again. Netflix has truly made a name for themselves with the cancellation of good shows, deciding to instead put their money into projects that make critics and viewers alike ask why they would give up such good shows for such garbage? Julie and the Phantoms was not a show I expected to love, but I fell in love with this show anyway. The soundtrack is incredible, and the characters easily found their way into my heart. The story wasn’t finished yet, and yet its second season was ripped out from under it. Was the 93% on Rotten Tomatoes not good enough for you? I suppose you’d rather have a 29% with Addison Rae and another freaking Kissing Booth movie. Your reputation is going down the drain Netflix, and there’s no one to blame but yourselves.

Julie and phantoms really helped me. My grandmother was going through cancer during COVID and I never felt so alone and unsaid Emily really spoke to me.
She passed right after it was announced that it was cancelled and it broke me. I love and feel my emotions through music and it helps me mentally. This show was the best and I really hope it does get renewed but let’s hope and keep hoping it gets picked up again

We need Julie and the Phantoms back!! This show brings me and my daughter's together like nothing ever has. I have a new teenager and a 6 year old and we all come together to watch Julie and The Phantoms over and over which is hard to do these days. We listen to the soundtrack on repeat in the car when we're not watching the show. The music really speaks to all of us and we all have our favorite songs and at some point we are all in tears from Unsaid Emily, to Finally Free, to Wake Up and then we jam to Flying Solo, We Got The Music, and even All Eyes on Me!!! Our family craves this show and it's the one thing we can all bond over. PLEASE come back to us!!! This show is truly inspiring especially to my teen who is a singer and pianist. I never take the time to write in about a show but we are truly passionate about Julie and the Phantoms!! Come back to us!!!

I have already seen the show 5 times and it's one of my favorites. The music is amazing and I could listen to it for hours. Especially the lyrics for edge of great and stand tall are so beautiful. But also unsaid Emily gets me every time because it's so sad and beautiful. The cast and the chemistry between the actors is also great. I don't understand why Netflix cancelled it especially because I think it has a lot of potential and there is so much more that could be told. I really hope it gets renewed or that it can be picked up somewhere else.

I love music. I just feel it's a special way for me to express how I feel and I'm sure a lot of people agree with me. Listening to all of their songs made me feel SO NICE! The actors and actresses don't only work well together but they're friends as well and have such a great bond!

When I was little I loved music and then as I started to get older I shifted away from it. When I watched this show I fell in love with music again and realized my true passion.

I watch the show litterly all day when I have nothing to do and listen to the songs while doing things. This show really shows you what you can do when you try hard and have supported friends. In the show Julie was not able to do anything related to music when he mom died but the year later when Luke, Alex, and Reggie showed up it shows her the she can still do it with some encuragement.

This show will never leave my mind and I think that this will always be the one things that I hate netflix for because this can teach people many things while also supporting people of all kinds. In the show alex is gay meaning that this supported the LBGTQ+ community. I think that netflix was really stupid canceling the show.

We should all work on saving this show. One thing that all the true fans can't get over though is the fact that it ended in a cliffhanger, SPOILER
Nick gets possessed by Caleb, How are the fans and I supposed to live on a cliffhanger like this there are infinite possibilities we all want to know if because of Luke, Alex and Reggie actually completed their unfinished business or did they just get saved from Calebs curse? Julie and the phantoms is an inspirational story about a girl you struggles to do a find her lost passion after the death of her mama but her friends bandmates and family helps her re-ignite that spark and help her struggle with her grief less. I understand that Netflix is a business but if you look at all of the people who want a second season, then it would make sense to give to people what they want. For example, more than 200,000 people have signed a single petition to bring back the show and the soundtrack has almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify and as of now it is the most liked show on Netflix and is trending. When I clicked on Netflix and started watching it, it changed my life I fell deeply in love with music,dance, and singing. Too many times have I watched Netflix cancel some of their greatest shows. JATP is to important to me and many of the others here. I’m not demanding but begging, the music is just a chefs kiss. I don't think I have ever watched a show or movie as many times as I have watched JATP. I have three kids under 10 and the four of us have watched season 1 of JATP at least five times together. We love it so much. Such a great storyline, humor, characters, music, message. The fact that my 4yo boy can sit along side his two sisters and 40yo mom and all of us can laugh, cry and sing with the show just shows how special this show is. Please bring it back!

julie and the phantoms is a special show for me because it brought me and my brothers closer together. i have 3 younger brothers and we were OBSESSED with the show when it came out, and still are. we would sing the songs together every weekend and put on concerts for my parents. its harder to do that now because we're older and busier but i miss it so much. singing these amazing songs helped me become a more confident singer and i cant even explain how much julie and flynn meant to me as a kid. i relate to the show so much and really just miss seeing these amazing actors together onstage. cmon netflix, its now or never.

Music means so incredibly much to me and I feel like Julie can relate a bit. I haven't lost a family member of course but music means a lot to both of us. When I feel a bit sad, listening to a good some or just some music can really brighten up my day. In my country, I haven't lost JAPT but not having season 2 (or 3) feels like torture! Dear Netflix,

Everytime I find an amazing show on your platform it turns out you've CANCELED the second season. Why? Why does it matter if people "older than your demographic" watch a show that makes them happy? It's still views isn't it?

It's so crazy to me how you will cancel the second season of a show within 4 weeks of release, you have to let it marinate for a while. Since you chose to be a buttwipe now you're getting a petition, worldtours of the Orpheum(where Julie and the phantoms got to play).

I bet all this lashback is costing you some big dollars.

I really love Julie and the phantoms, this might be the first time I've protested because of 9 episodes of a show. This is the first time I've ever been COMPELLED to protest.

I love this show a lot. I love the story, music, characters, romance, friendship, drama, comedy, and everything about it. Me and my brother watched Julie and the phantoms about two years ago. It was amazing! The second we finished it, we checked when the second season will come out. It said it wound in May or April. We waited, and waited. But it got canceled! So we rewathed it, it was hard.It made us more fearious and heart broken. It was one of my favorite shows.

So listen, Netflix how come you make new shows and movies ever month. And Family Reunion got a fifth season but Julie and the phantoms can't have two! There is no reason why you can't make us happy instead of ignoring us. It's just unfair. You can make so

I know its been 4 years since the show got cancelled but I still have hope. Julie and the Phantoms is the only show that is actually good on netflix. The rest is trash. There will NEVER be another show just like japt. Netflix didn't just broke our hearts, but they also broke the whole team of japt. Does netflix even appreciate them? Doesn't netflix know that japt has won 3 DAYTIME EMMYS, which is a lot. Not every show on netflix wins an emmy but they still get another season. But shows like japt doesn't, which seems unfair to us viewers. People might say to move on and it's just a show, but this show isn't just a show. This is different. When we found out that japt got cancelled, it felt like i just lost a family member. So I want all the Fantoms to know that I'm still hurt. I haven't moved on. I will still be praying for a season 2 and for more to come.

The Cast & Crew themselves did an amazing job plus the director of the show... Without his creativity the show wasn't able to be produced.. Julie and the phantoms showed me that there is light at the end of the deepest tunnel, that true friends are always there for us, and that nothing is impossible. This story deserves a fitting ending. This show came out when I was going through my first heartbreak, it was a really rough time in my life, I was going through depression, and my anxiety was at it's peak. I binged watched Julie and the phantoms in one day, the music, the cast and messages helped me grieve, helped me move on. It sounds sill to say that a show helped me this much, but for a few months the hope of seeing their story continue was all that kept me going. I was utterly devastated when it got cancelled for season 2 and I've rewatched the first season approximately 10 times since it came out.

I love Julie and the Phantoms because of the amazingly talented actors, beautifully written story, and addictive song performances in each episode! It brings so much nostalgia of why we used to love teen musicals! I am extremely sad that we do not get to see the characters evolve in Season 2 or have any closure as to how the story may develop! Julie and the Phantoms (JATP) is such an amazing show, it's inspiring an it helps so many people to do what they love (singing) I'm speaking for all the fans of JATP when I say we need another season, we are left on at least three cliffhangers.

Things I have done to prove how much I love the show:

I've drawn all the characters, their crushes, personally, and instruments/microphones. I've watched the season at least seven times, A DAY.

Things you can do to get the show to renew:

you can post on here and tell how much you love the show, you can go to Netflix recommendations and put "Julie and the phantoms season 2", and you can rewatch the show whenever you can, even as background noise.

WHY IT SHOULD BE RENEWED:

Julie and the phantoms (JATP) means more to us than you can ever imagine. This show has given us a new look on life, and death I guess, but the point is that there is no way that someone would take away something that means so much to others, that has changed people’s outlooks on life, that lets people see that they can do so much if they work for it. JATP has created such an amazing environment that even is Fantoms can’t describe. The show truly made us all have something to love and look forward to, and Netflix shouldn’t take that away. Here’s a few reasons why the show should have a season 2:

JATP deserves a second season because of all the hard work that the cast and crew has done.
The cast was phenomenal and each and every one of them was incredibly talented and deserves to showcase more and more of their talent in the second season.
The crew works so hard to make sure the show is perfect, to make sure all the lighting, sound, and scenes are all put together perfectly, and they did an amazing job that does not deserve to be put to waste with just one season.

I don’t think Netflix realizes how many souls (haha, get it?) this show touched. This show teaches people that you shouldn’t be afraid to be who you are. That you gotta bust open that closed door. That we all make mistakes, but they’re just stepping stones. That you gotta get up, get out, relight that spark. That life is a risk but we will take it, close our eyes and jump. That my life would be real low zero flying solo without JATP. That life can be so mean, but when Julie and the Phantoms comes on, we’re in perfect harmony. That we all get a second act (ESPECIALLY JATP). That you should let your colors blind their eyes, be who you are no compromise. That I got a spark in me. That we know we can make it, we’re not falling down under. That we got the music. And that we need to stand tall even when everything’s down. We were all devastated when JATP got cancelled, but not defeated. So I really really have hope that when Netflix sees how much this show means to us, they will renew it.

I found this show in fifth grade right when it came out, and I fell in love with it. These characters have taught me and grown up with me, supported me during rough times. They helped me feel more like myself, and this was the first piece of media that I saw LGBTQIA+ characters in. I think that being more normalized in media (especially this show) helped me to be able to recognize my own feelings. I just came out to a friend last night, and I think this show helped me get the courage to do it.

It's such a life changing show. I have seen it 11 times. What I have seen made me fell so alive it deepened my connection with music. I feel so close to my soul, it changed me. I don't understand why netflix cancelled season 2. Kenny Ortega's show is life changing and a must watch. So many bad shows have got extra seasons for no reason. This show is amazing! There are not enough words to express how much I am obsessed with the music, the humor, the characters, the flawless storytelling and more... I still can't wrap my head around the fact that this was dropped! I might have missed the height of this show in 2020, but without a doubt I can see the impact it has on so many people online. I love this show so much that I'm even writing my own season 2 to deal with the heartbreak that Netflix has caused me. As you can see in the title, I want a season 2. Now. I love this show so freaking much and it broke my heart when I realized there wasn’t a second season. I just watched the show for the very first time and I absolutely loved it. The chemistry between Luke and Julie is so palpable. It’s amazing the way Willie had such good character development was amazing and William and Alex’s love story I just I love it so freaking much. The storyline it’s such a good job and making you absolutely hate Caleb Covington but I still like his actor because Cheyenne Jackson is just amazing BooBoo Stewart is an awesome actor. He is so good. I loved watching him in this show. And the soundtrack I will be listening to that for the rest of my life. I loved it.

I watched Julie and the phantoms for the first time in 2020, and i immediately fell in love with it, everything about it was so perfect. It always anoyed me how people were saying it's just for kids when it's for everyone! Has so many hidden meanings. I got so many of my frieds to watch it and they liked it so much. The music is also top tier, like every single song is amazing without autotune and makes so much sense to the show instead of being completly out of the blue. It's been 4 years, I've rewatched it over 20 times, I got older, I'm still not over it. There are so many secrets that haven't been discovered, so many details like the fact that Willie has a key necklace and Flynn has a lock necklace, this must have been planned out by Kenny and we can't have a chance to find out what it meant. Or when in the last episode Caleb sings that a "wise man" once gave him an offer he couldn't refuse, does that mean there is someone even more powerfull than Caleb and is controlling him? I can't even remember how many times I've watched this show, and every time feels like the first time I've watched it. It is just so beautiful and I love it so much. I can't and will not ever move on from this show as it holds a very special place to my heart. This saved me during the pandemic and I was very broken hearted when I found out that it was cancelled. I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say, Julie and the Phantoms, turned out way better than we expected. I decided to watch it because I was bored but became attached instantly. The pure chemistry between the actors and characters is amazing. Along with the great storyline and don't even get me started on the songs. Incredible. Is all I can say. I recently had a surgery called a Femoral Derotational Osteotamy. My leg grew twisted, so the surgery involved breaking the bone and twisting it into a normal position. Needless to say, it was quite painful. I was in the hospital for 4 nights , and Julie and the Phantoms was one of the only things I watched. The songs helped me remember that it would get better, and ultimately helped me through the recovery. This show needs a second season!

I love this show and when I heard that they wasn't making another season, my heart had dropped to my stomach. This show has meant a whole lot to me I myself when I listen to the music it speaks to me, especially by losing someone so special to you and it shows not to lose hope. So I shelby McKenzie, I am saying please please bring back Julie and the phantoms if it touched me it could touch other people as well and you just cannot leave off the part of the boys hugging Julie in the curse is lifted. We waited so long to figure out if the boys are OK, Or if they are still alive somehow, and I don’t know if anyone else is Thinking the same thing And I hope you guys do after the whole she was able to touch The boys.

WE NEED A SEASON TWO!!!!! Julie and the Phantoms helped many people, inspired many people, and showed people what music is like. Julie and the Phantoms is my comfort show to this day, and I even showed it to my friends. If Netflix thinks they did a good thing by cancelling Julie and the Phantoms, then they should think again because what they did was stupid. They took away people's favorite show and they think this is how they would get more popular. And the worse part is, Kenny Ortega wanted a season two. Heck, all the actors wanted a season two. But Netflix cancelled it because "It attracted an older age group then it was supposed to" Or whatever the heck that means. Okay, yes, It's 2025 and I'm still fighting for it, But that's because we need it!!! This is why people write fandom about season two; Because NETFLIX cancelled it!! Jatp changed people's life. If Julie and the Phantoms never came out, you never know what could've happened to those people's lives it saved. Many people thought Disney + would pick it up, and I thought so too. If it isn't, then why would Kenny put jatp in his bio on Instagram and why would Charlie get Luke's haircut? I dunno, maybe I'm just getting my hopes up. But one things for sure: IF NETFLIX DOESNT RENEW JATP, THEN THEY GOT SOMETHING COMING THEIR WAY.

*Ahem* Anyways, I really hope Julie and the Phantoms will be picked up. By anyone.

Although most might focus on the drama or storyline itself it's the music that spoke to my heart. When I'm on a drive or am feeling down like I've lost the music inside me I remember this show and can't help but sing along. Wake up was the first song i connected with but as the story went on, I felt a spark inside from each song that brought out my passion for music and the feelings it can convey to others. JATP gave me my passion back I stopped singing for so long until I saw it and I don't want to lose that passion again. Please bring back the show. It inspires others and makes us believe that each of us can have a little magic within.

i have been loving this show since it came out. its almost been five years. and netflix is still not doing anything about it. there are a lot of people who wrote a signature in a petition. about 360,000 that's a lot of people who love this show. the cast the chemistry is sow wonderful to whatch. plus i strongly belive that even the cast want a season 2 i think that we should keep fighting no matter what.

This show is amazing I wish there was another season because Julie's and Luke's chemistry is everything. Personally I just want to see them have a relationship and the what happens about with Nick since his body got taken over. I really really want them to fight over her. This tv show was my absolute favorite until I saw that there was only 1 season. I really want to see what Caleb does to the three guys or if he does.

The movie has so many messages in it that touches the hearts of many people old and young. I’m a singer and hometown actor as well and can relate whole heartedly to the show and would love to see a second season. It also has many good learning lessons in it and character growth. It can inspire anybody that’s shy or gets nervous when the perform to gain the confidence and own their light.

this show has honestly been such a comfort show for me. the characters, the music, the setting everything just has such good vibes and always helps to lift my spirits. i watched for the first time it in 2020, recently rewatched it and god i still love it so much! we deserve a seaosn 2!!!!!
