It was the last day in 2019.I wanted 2019 to end everythingto be better in 2020 no longer. It was told about an infectıous disease started in China in the news when I had breakfast. Because I didn't want to hear bad news, I turned the TV off. I didn't even imagine that the infectious disease which I didn't want to hear that day and I thought it was so far away would be so closed.

He would not come to my country. It wouldn't affect my life. A sollutıon to be disease experienced in China would be found. Nothing happened as I thought. Over time, a global epidemic had covid 19. the world was alarmed. New measures were taken all the time.

But on Friday, the principal said that the schoolswere closed for a while due to corona virus. Me and my other friends are very sorry. I understood that the sıtuatıon was very serıus. Fortunately, the quarantıne process was 2 weeks, but on the last evening of the quarantıne, news came thetschools will not open untıl Aprıl 30. The whole country was asked to stay at home. Today now everyone has a curfew.
Even if not, no one dares to leave the house. But I believe these will pass.

As expected, the schools aren't opened. However, education must be carried out. So, Ministry of Education calculated all about this and teachers started to reach their students via Tv, mostly Eba and online lessons. Of course it isn't like face to face education but in those quarantine days, I think it is so effective.

When I learned that I wouldn't going to school for the near future, I didn't know how to react. After a few days I knew that we had to sit politely at home and that you can't meet with friends because this virus is a serious matter. To day I'm really sad that I can't go to school and meet witch friends.

I didn't care at the beginning.I thought that we cold shake that disease off easily. However,it wasn't like that I thought. Even though my school mates were infected,I couldn't care it. I understood that it was a terrible disease when the rates of death increased.Then, I started to pay more attention. We succeeded to shake the virus off with the help of the precautions we took. And then I understood something due to the virus that sometimes even the things we didn't want to hear could give us very important lessons.

It was unbelieveable to have such a disease on Earth effecting all the people,including us. After the government announcements,we started a short break of school and education. I couldn't believe we were home after a busy schoolyear. We had many opportunities at home to have fun. I was trying hard at home. When I turned back, I realized that two months passed. We were still at home. Covid-19 was still at the door. However, we took lots of precautions.Except my husband nobody goes out during two months. And then, my little kids had the infection. We thought that it was allergic,because by elder son is an allergic kid. We couldn't go to see the doctor even. We called our doctor friends and asked.She said that it might be covid-19, but not sure. It might be something else, too. We were checking the boys,they had no other covid-19 symptoms. After two weeks,we went outside on the first day that the children could go out. Next day we were all at the hospital.

Now, we came to the end of the project. That was an unpredictable period for all of us. At first,everybody was in a shock and thinking about "What will happen now? How will we behave,live,survive?" etc. There were a lot of questions in minds. Most of the people took precautions and didn't go out or socialise unless needed. That was a hopeful situation for all of us. Due to this, we decided to name our project "STAY AT HOME,BE HOPEFUL" Our project mainly aimed to raise hope of our students. We planned so many activities to do with our students both at home and during online webinars. We weren't able to see each other face to face, but we were always in contact via Whatsapp group,twinspace and also via online webinars which were like real. Because we could chat about project and our athome-lives besides we could see each other. By means of our project, all of us realised that there is hope. Life is going on. Everybody in the world live same conditions, everybody struggle to terminate this period with less disadvantage. And we with all of our partners from Poland and Ukraine were always felt hopeful. Our students always dealt with the activities related to the project. Finally, at he closing webinar all the participants expressed that they were pleased to take part in that project and that they would be volunteer if there is another project soon. These are the imlications of our story's title. NOTHING IS OVER YET AS LONG AS WE HAVE HOPE INSIDE US ESPECIALLY AS TEACHERS AND TEENAGERS. We are so glad that we were a part of that project with these partners. so STAY AT HOME,BE HOPEFUL, NOTHING IS OVER YET!!!
