The battle of Saratoga had the biggest impact upon the revolutionary war. Gates had an American force of more then 10,000 troops gathered near Saratoga.The American force which had increased to about 13,000 soilders attacked and the british retreacted. This was important because many died and were injured and it impacted many lives.
