         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>&nbsp;<strong>Scientific Management is the platform</strong> of the theory, yet <strong>expanded by considering the individual.</strong></li><li><strong>Motivated by</strong> the individual and urban influence</li><li>&nbsp;<strong>Top Down Approach</strong>&nbsp;</li><li>In modern times the word Bureaucracy has a negative connotation, yet <strong>Weber used bureaucracy intentionally as a positive approach in his design.&nbsp;</strong></li><li><strong>Weber's purpose </strong>was to intentionally<strong> </strong>design a Bureaucratic process<strong> </strong>which <strong>organizations and the people within could</strong> <strong>function</strong> <strong>&nbsp;successfully.&nbsp;</strong></li><li>Everyone has a job, and a place within the organization, and they are<strong> expected to stay within their compartment and perform duties as assigned within for the betterment of the organization.&nbsp;</strong></li><li><strong>Compliance is essential </strong>to maintain organization and purpose, not considered punitive.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>Lacks collaboration</strong> within the organization between content experts.</li><li><strong>Specialty areas</strong> are not organized in a manner that allows for collaboration, and growth.</li><li><strong>Focus</strong> is on avoiding interpersonal relationships in exchange for perceived efficacy.</li><li><strong>Rules and Regulations</strong> drive all decisions.</li><li><strong>Vertical Hierarchy</strong> design is demeaning to levels below each top. Limited growth opportunities.</li><li>There was a <strong>fear that Bureaucracy Organization models in schools </strong>would lead to students learning to be bureaucratic in life.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>Frederick W. Taylor, Mechanical Engineer</strong>, was the leader in the Principles Scientific Management theory which resembles the platform of Weber's theory.</li><li>The Scientific Era 1900-1915.</li><li>Taylor did not consider the individual in his Scientific Management model.</li><li><strong>Henri Fayol, a French Industrialist</strong> shortly followed Taylor and was a contributor in the evolution and implementation of a spinoff of Scientific Management following Taylor's lead by fine tuning as organizational needs evolved called, Administrative Management Theory.</li><li><strong>Max Weber, German Sociologist (1864-1920) </strong>Founder of the <em>Bureaucratic Organizational Theory.</em></li><li><strong>Fayol and Weber have multiple similarities</strong>, but Max Weber's writings which started in 1910-20 at the same time as Fayol and Taylor were in German and were not translated to English until some 20 years following Fayol and Taylor's writings, so they were not able to collaborate, but forming similar ideas independently many miles apart.</li></ul>]]></description>
