I ask some questions like  "Do you live in an apartment flat or a detached house? , Have you got your own room? , What is your favourite place at home?" 
Then we can have a look at different kinds of houses from the net and talk about them and choose their favourite.
As a While reading activity we can do true/false activity with colourful cards to make it more fun.Then answer the comprehension question as a group work.
While reading i  divide the class into 2 group and want one group underline the room names and the other group underline the household objects.Then we categorise them togrther.
As a post reading activity i offer 3 options for my students.they can choose one of them and do it.
1.shoot a video of your house and talk about it.
2.draw your dream house and present it by using paperslide
3.write a paragraph that describes your house/dream house 

2.To differentiate the activities according to pupil's levels and interests..

2.I generally want my pupils write down the new words with their word class and then i give the other forms.For example ,employ(verb)  i also give employer ,employee  etc.  Then i want them write their example sentences about the words.Sometimes i use photographic memory techniques to teach vocab.

2.We should keep in touch with the colleagues because we may encounter with some common problems during our PDCs.We    can consult eachother about these handicaps or we can exchange creative ideas.
