The first type of this art was in the 600s - 900s, where people would carve pictures inside of caves. • Vina - an Indian stringed instrument, with four main and three auxiliary strings.  

Some of the drums can include:

• Tambura
• Tabla 
• Mridangam

Classical dance is popular, and is sometimes performed representing poems and stories.
