Children are assessed through applying their knowledge and skills in the processes of design. To become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques. The work produced in their sketchbooks will be assessed in KS2.
Children will look at the creative use of materials through using a range of media, different art techniques, such as colour and shape. In KS2 children will be taught how to draw, paint and sculpture using pencil, charcoal, paint and clay.
Teachers should inspire and encourage children to be creative, such as through the experimentation of arterials and techniques. They should also encourage critical thinking to reflect on their own work.

PE is an essential subject across all aspects of education. The main purpose of the subject is to help pupil to be physically confident to support their health and fitness. When students join activities, it helps them build character by implementing major sporting values such as respect and fairness. This subject ,in addition, support students having a healthy lifestyle and sustain being physically active for long periods of time.

In Key Stage 1, basic fundamental movements to be increasingly competent and develop skills such as: agility, balance, coordination, etc.

In Key Stage 2, the basic movements should be developed further to increase their skills. For example to make a sequence of movements. Students should also learn to evaluate and recognise their own success. The students should find it fun to compete and communicate with other students while doing P.E.
