Some of of Ali character traits are curious, adventurous, and brave. In the text it says, "Putting the photo back in the book, I ran downstairs to ask Mom about Gull Cottage, the lake, and the girl." That shows me that she is curious, because she really wants to find out who that girl was in the picture. In the the text it says, ""Next time you sashay off to Webster's Cove, please let me know."" She is adventurous because she went to go look for sissy. In the text it says, "With  a sudden twist, Emma broke away from me and ran to the edge of the dock. Before I could stop her, shed leapt into the lake." After that Ali had to jump into the water to save Emma. In the text it says,"" I didn't let her go anywhere," I said. " She went to her room, and the next thing I knew she was running across the field toward the wood. She must have climbed out her window or something. Sissy was waiting-----"
