It opens millions of people up to many health hazards and dangerous diseases that all come from the same base - the way food is produced.  The pesticides that are used to feed the animals are not only harmful to them, but to us as well. We have slowly ruined agriculture and instead of it benefiting humans in their eating habits, it detracts from our health in countless different aspects. Not only does it hurt us and the animals, but the environment as well. The food is not produced the way most of us think it is. It is produced in closed off factories where all the food is mass produced. The process we currently have is cruel to the animals, the environment, and to our health. Diseases spread easily and causing numerous health issues which just adds onto the fact that the food is unhealthy to begin with. While the food is affordable and helps the economy it has so many negative effects. To change it there should be more laws and restriction concerning food production. Its large amount of effects and long-term costs, show that it should not be continued. This includes plant farming, such as soy or corn, and livestock. So I disagree with how it is currently functioning because the animals are kept in confined spaces making diseases easily spreadable then once digested by humans it can harm them the way the food is processed should also change because it goes through many chemicals making it not really all beef but  very processed. They are put in camps to farms and they have harmful pesticides that are just used to make more use of the animal, this is bad for us humans. I think we are being more harsh to the animals then we used to be. We should be smart about how we make our food and use less harsh punishments to the animals. What we give animals can be harmful steroids that can hurt them and when we eat the meat it can hurt us. It is very upsetting to know how bad they treat animals when in your mind a farm is a nice place. Farmers don't care how the animals are being treated they just want the money. The governemnt can't force a company to stop making it but the company can. If farmers were people who cared about animals and people's health the world will be better. Less people would get sick and many people will be in better shape.
