Salamanca is an outstanding exponent of Geometric Art and Kinetic Art. His exhibition catalogues often feature Apollonius of Perga, Kepler, Galileo, Möbius and Mandelbrot. The real and the illusory go hand in hand. The sculptures take on different forms depending on the position of the viewer. The polished stainless steel acts as a mirror, completing the existing with symmetries.

The Star is made of a stainless steel ribbon bent and held in place by a reticular cubic structure. Like any cube that is viewed in line with the diagonal, the hexagonal silhouette appears. It is actually an octahedron with two opposite faces missing, revealing its interior. The empty triangles are extended in shiny sheet metal to form the hexagonal star. The inclination of the supporting rectangle and the support at one point give the pleasant sensation of a floating structure.

Like the Eiffel Tower in Paris, which was to be dismantled, the Atomium has been saved from destruction and oblivion to become a landmark of the city.

The impressive structure by architect André Waterkeyn is 103 metres high and the radius of each sphere is 9 metres.

The crystalline structure is body-centred cubic, which is not optimal for the packing of spheres. The connecting rods are workshop representations.

The Omnipolyhedron is installed in the Tossal Theme Park in Alicante so that it can be observed as a sculpture.

The structure placed in the Tossal of Alicante has been designed in the IES Leonardo da Vinci of Alicante on the occasion of the events of the World Mathematics Year 2000. Its construction has been possible thanks to an agreement between the Department of Education of the Alicante City Council and the Al-Khwarizmi Mathematics Education Society of the Valencian Community.

Like a star is the first of the modern sculptures in the city of Alicante, and one of the most emblematic.

It is a twelve-sided polyhedron with pentagonal sides from which 51 polished stainless steel tubes (except for the base, which has 50) emerge, longer from the upper face (235 cm for the central tube and 60 cm for the shortest). The sculpture is placed on an axis supported on an iron base so that the work remains isolated in space and moves thanks to an incorporated electrical mechanism.
