The British fight in Lexington with a small militia, but the British march to Concord in head of the supplies the colonist gather in Concord to fight off the British.<br><br></div><div><br>Who won and why The colonist's lost at Lexington, but bought enough time to gather a militia of 300 colonist in Concord. The colonist outnumbered the British and thats how they won.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>British Surrender at Yorktown</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Date: October, 1781<br><br></div><div><br>Location: Yorktown, Virginia<br><br></div><div><br>Recap in your own words: George Washington sent fake commands to distract the British while French troops met with some of the colonist. During that time the French Navy pulled into the harbor in Yorktown without getting see, they hid till the British navy came. Degrass fought the British at around 4:00 PM and Degrass beat the British This was known as the Battle of Chesapeake. The American Troop met with Degrass's Navy, the American troop set up a camp in the James River. The siege'd on Yorktown, The Americans outnumbered the British. George fired an artillery bombardment that lasted for a week. General Cornwallis was outnumbered and couldn't rebuild due to the siege. George made trenches to advance on the British and soon forced them to surrender.<br><br></div><div><br>Who won and why The American's won because they had very good plans, and they tricked the British while they hid in Chesapeake bay.<br><br></div>]]></description>
