it was on hot morning in detroit, it was summer time almost 90 degrees outside. As i role out of bed i noticed my dog wasn’t at my feet like she is every morning for her daily belly rub. So i walk into the family room, mom still sleep, dads at work, sisters are still sleep also. But still no sign og my dog. That was when i went straight into panic mode because she was nowhere to be found. I checked downstairs, upstairs still nowhere to be found i walk past the front door then i turned around and noticed the front door was open. My body just broke down because in my mind i thought i would never see her again. I cried for hours until i cried myself to sleep.

“Hey JaVaughn,” my mom called out.
“Yes,” I replied.
“Can you go let the dog out,” my mom stated.
“Okay,” I answered.
I went to get my dog and leash him up so he could go outside. Everytime I let my dog outside I’m always told to make sure the gate is closed. Normally the gate is closed and I only have to close it sometimes. But on this one day I didn’t close the gate.

Beginning: i wake up around 8am for a 11am game, i brush my teeth , put my uniform on and get ready to go . i usually have on flip flops on my way to a game to be comfortable . im all ready to go to the game , my uncle and i . we get in the car with with my equipment and my uncle tells me to double check to make sure i didnt leave anything , so i did . we get going on the highway to a game in novi , we are about 5 minutes away . so i look in the back seat for my cleats that i used for that year , but i couldent see them . i was sure i left them and best believe i did. I was afraid to tell my uncle i left them because he already told me to double check . i ended up telling him , he wasnt upset but we were worried about what i would wear to play . we noticed that i had some cleats in the trunk that i used the previous year , but they where pretty small for me now . but as my uncle would say ‘we are just going to have to make do ‘ .

Everyone makes mistakes in life some grow from them and learn to be better. But some people make mistakes and wouldn’t change.A time I made a mistake in life is when I didn't trust my teammates because of the fact that we lost the first 2 games of our season.I learned from my mistakes but it took a while and It was hard for me to take constructive criticism at the time.Trust is a big part of your life you need. Also I took ideas and thoughts from others. Some people that help me learn from my mistakes was parents, siblings, and the coaches. My mom told me that you will never win a game when you cant even have trust in others. That statement made me think about the way I should start believing in and trusting in my teammates and the people around me.

Beginning: As I wake up and get ready for school today. I remember we have to turn in our homework so I check to make sure I had all seven of my assignments cause I decided not to do them until the last day and still didn’t Do them on the last day. Later on I get to school I grab my Binder out of my locker and walk to class. I felt as today was great for me because if I turned all my assignments in that I would have straight A’s in all seven classes that I had.

Beginning: I woke up sluggishly considering i was up late all night playing video games, I sat down in my dark room and joined the google meet, they were loud as always and it annoyed me. I noticed I was still feeling tired so I went back to my bed and lied down. As I was laying down I listened to the lesson coming from my computer. Sooner or later the lesson started fading out and beginning to go quiet. I was falling asleep! Desperately trying to wake myself up I turn on my favorite Netflix show. It worked for a while as I lied down listening to the teacher teach with Netflix on my TV.

The last, most of the time it's depressing, when something is the last. This is due to the fact that when something is the last of something there won't be sequel one after that. This is one of those scenarios. Everyone’s lives are filled with good choices and bad choices. But like every parent likes to quote, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” I knew one quote before I could walk. It was hard for me to truly grasp what they were talking about until, “the Incident”. I know what you are thinking about it isn’t going to be something like I peed myself. But it was equally made even just as bad.
It all started one day at 5:00 in the afternoon I had just gotten done with my read and response, it was so boring and it took so long! I thought to myself that this was going to take all day. I said it in my head because I knew my dad was going to say, “it doesn’t matter how long the work takes”. Also if I said it out loud they’d check over my homework to see that I didn’t rush or just guessed. Then I thought to myself, I heard that most of the time teachers give us a little time before class to wait for the rest of the kids to come in. so I would just do my homework in that little time where the teachers have most of the posters that could help me figure out my homework easily.
