         <description><![CDATA[<div>Headaches were treated with sweet smelling herbs; some examples are rose, lavender, and sage.  Henbane, and hemlock were used in the treatment of aching joints. Wounds and venom bites were cleaned with vinegar and also mint at times. After cleaned, myrrh was used as an antiseptic and then left open to the air in the 1500's. This form of medicine for wound care was very common in the care of battle wounds in this century.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the 1500's general hospitals were not like the nineteenth century hospitals, they were funded by charity. Back then most people considered hospitals a place of "last resort," as for they were filed with diseases ,infection and death.Poverty was associated with hospitals back than as well, also seen as the "last resort." Christian hospitals focused on the care given more than the cure and it was based on the belief or relationship between one and their God. Hospitals were also associates with gods and deities to the Greek and roman Empires. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Medieval doctors were very uneducated and had very little knowledge when it came to treating and diagnosing their patients, the main thing they did was pay attention to their body fluids ( blood, urine and stools). This technique was used until they were faced with the Black Death. This was also known to them as the four elements, which led to bleeding out their patients or peers who seeked help or who became ill with unknown diseases and illnesses. There were four kinds of categories Medieval Surgeons, Barbers, Apothocary and wise woman.</div>]]></description>
