The names of all of the selected organizations are placed on slips of paper inside a glass pumpkin and all slips are drawn until only one remains - that is the charity we all agree to donate to that year.

my father's side of the family doesn't like the traditional Thanksgiving food. but they loved getting together, so they decided that they were going to eat food that was more traditional to the family that everyone liked. So instead of turkey and whatnot, we eat Pho. there is red meat that cooks in the bowl from the hot broth, and the noodles are delectable. It's honestly amazing and so good.

Every month my family picks something fun to do but the person that picks the activity varies. We determine who the person is to pick that month by guessing a number rolling a dice or sometimes we go outside and race each other and whoever wins get to pick but the kids get a head start.

Every year I go to my cousins house with all of my mom's side and we give gifts to each other. They live on a dead end and at the end there is a bike park in the middle of the woods that is made out of dirt. So we usually go out there when it's dark and ride bikes. Then we give each other gifts.
