Modern advertising changed to advertising to appeal the consumer's desires. Many businesses practiced the power of advertising. Mass advertising swept over america to get consumers to buy products. They used many strategies and practices to increase their business and get known and liked by many americans. Electrical conveniences powered much of the economic boom of the 1920s. The use of electricity also transformed the nation. Development of alternate electrical current made it possible to distribute electricity over long distances. Electricity was no longer restricted and could be distributed everywhere. The electrification of new areas of the country made it possible for many people to get the newest and latest electric conviencies.

This plan allowed people who didn't have enough money or using too much money at one time get the product they wanted. They banks provided their money at low interests rates and they got the products they wanted. Even when businesses had concern no one think that anything could go wrong and that the economy would just keep getting better. Lives had been better for many people in america. No one had worries or concern about what could happen and everyone went into favor with this throwing all care aside into the win to enjoy their lives.

When he put tariffs on foreign goods making it more expensive for European countries to import their products to America. At the same time, the European countries had to pay back their debts so they couldn't really afford to pay for tariffs. The United States did attempt to help the European countries by donating 2.5 billion dollars to Germany through the Dawes plan, this made it so that Britain, Germany, and France would be able to recover and America would eventually get their money back.

The teapot dome scandal was the biggest example of corruption in his administration. Albert B.Fall managed to get the oil reserves transferred from the navy to the interior department. Then he secretly leased the land to 2 private oil companies. He received 400,000 dollars and after was found guilty of bribery and was the first american to be convicted of a felony under the cabinet. After this even Harden gave a speech about how his friends drag him down. Later after this he died.

What factors prompted many African Americans to move to Northern cities?

There were many reasons for African Americans to move north. For example, many of them left to escape racial discrimination because of how hard it was to live with it. Another reason many of the cotton fields in the south had been destroyed by floods. Especially because of Henry fords company that paid well for everyone bringing in jobs for many Africans. My final big reason was World War 1 because a lot of the northern males had been fighting in the war causing Africans and women to step up and help run the country more.
