-When kids were exposed to the violence from Taliban it caused inappropriate games and they poisoned the minds of fear. It sadly became a daily thing for everybody, and it is unfair that the little kids can't grow in a healthy surrounding.  
-I thought it was very surprising how Fazlullah had bombed so many schools and cut off all internet. I think that he misused his power and instead of helping others, he tried to force his beliefs on everyone else. In addition, Malala mentions how Fazlullah was being violent and didn't want girls going to school. So, eventually, girls stopped coming until there were 10 in her grade.
-This article talks about Fazlullah, he was one of the leaders of the Taliban. In the book the Taliban cause many people to follow them, and they had used violence to express their beliefs. What does Purdah mean?
It means women should be bot be seen by men and have to hide their faces whenever they got out of the house.
-In chapter 7 Malala mentions, "Coming events cast their shadows before." I think that this quote shows how although Malala thought that the Taliban were far away, they are closer than she thinks.
-This is important to our book because the Taliban in our case was seen as the antagonist. For example, the Taliban had shot Malala in the head and they had been closing down girl schools. In summary, they forced their beliefs on as many people as possible in Pakistan.
