My name is Jamie Milson and my major is Cosmetology Instructor of AAS. I reside in Dickinson, Texas and the time zone here is central standard time. In 2008, I graduated at La Marque Highschool along with the Cosmetology Program. Doing hair and being in the beauty industry is something I've wanted to do since I was a little girl watching my grandmother in the salon. What interest me the most about cosmetology is helping people. I genuinely love to help people and make them feel good about themselves while providing good and quality service. I received my Cosmetology Operator Licenses in 2009 and from there I've worked in some the top salons in the Regis Company along with Sport Clips. I attended Lee College in 2015 where I took their Cosmetology Instructor course and I am currently one test away from obtaining my Instructor's License. I am a full time student here at San Jac and a business owner of a Permanent Makeup Studio in Houston. I have a family of 6 that includes me, my fiancé our 2 boys and my 2 step children that come over for the weekend. I really enjoy being a mom and spending time with family.   My name is David Bieber and I am attending San Jacinto College for Process Technology (P-Tech). I live in La Porte, Texas and my time zone is central standard time I graduated from LaPorte Highschool in 2018, from there I decided that I wanted to follow a career path into the plants. I spoke with some of my family members that work in the plants and P-Tech was the one I found most interesting. I currently work in the E-Commerce department at Kroger. Most of the work I do for the department consist of paperwork for all the orders and overseeing my co-workers to be sure that they are working correctly and efficiently.    My name is Hunter Kern, and this is my first year attending San Jacinto College as a Dual Credit high school student. I recently moved to Santa Fe, Texas from Olympia, Washington, and I now reside in the Central Time Zone. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life, so I'm still getting use to the humidity! 

   My goal here at San Jac is to obtain my General AA Degree, and to later attend medical school to become a General Physician. I might specialize in Endocrinology later, but my goal is to become a GP for now.

 On the weekend I enjoy riding motocross, flying aircraft, hiking, fishing, bow shooting, firearm target shooting with my friends and family, and playing my guitar. I look forward to finishing this class with each and every one of you!

      My name is Jordyn Hall, and this is my first semester in college. I graduated from Sterling High School, June 2016 in Baytown, Tx. I currently live in Dayton, Tx. and my time zone is Central. I plan to finish at San Jacinto with my associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I became interested in sonography when I was diagnosed with Tachycardia. Every appointment my doctor would do a heart ultrasound and I was amazed by everything I could see. Other than school my family is the most important thing to me and I want to make everyone proud. My entire family lives in a small town in Alabama. I love to visit them, go to the movies, ride horses, go bowling and I love to watch Netflix. My name is Andrew Flores i'm 19 and this is my first semester at San Jacinto. At this point in time I am living with my grandparents in Rosenberg, TX which means that I am in the central time zone. I am currently in general studies because i'm not entirely sure what profession I want to work in. However I do know that I want it to be science based since its always been my best and favorite subject, but with this in mind I need to be careful with the career path I choose because not only are my math skills are next to atrocious, but since math and science go hand. So i'm hopeful that i'll find a career that isn't too math heavy, or if it is that I can hopefully adapt to it quickly.

  Whenever I have free time I like to hangout with my best friend and sister and go to the movies,mall, or even conventions from time to time.

I am attending San Jacinto North for the opportunity to obtain an associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I am currently employed at Patients Emergency Room as a Front Desk Registrar. It is here that I get to interact frequently with Ultrasound Technicians and find their job to be very exciting and rewarding. From finding a Gallbladder full of sludge and gallstones to ectopic pregnancies, and even torque testicles. It is awesome to see how these interventions save so much time and allow for quick interventions to treat the patients and improve their quality of health. I do have plans to later obtain a higher degree as a RN-BSN, but I am starting with my sonography degree, and will continue to work my way up as necessary. I currently live in Baytown, TX, which is in the central time zone. In my free time I spend as much time as I can with my two amazing boys Trayson age 5 and Maddox age 9 months. My husband had a heart attack two years ago and while I was with him in intensive care, I saw that nurses are a big part of a patient’s recovery and I saw myself doing what nurses do. The picture below of a degree is a goal that I have been wanting to accomplish for quite some time. My major is Business Office Technology. I completed the Business Office Technology Certification back in May 2016, but have not earned a college degree. I decided to pursue a degree in business and an interesting fact is that the certification credits that I’ve completed were able to transfer for an Associates of Applied Science degree. My name is Kaleb Workman. I am 23 and only just moved to Pearland about half a year ago. My timezone here in Texas is Central Time (-6:00). I started school to extend my hobby to something more practical, and to be able to have the recognition needed in the field to turn my hobby into a career. Since I was young I didn't have many friends, and my parents separated. My dad left behind his old computer and on it was a game designing software. I was very young and had no idea what I was doing at the time. Somehow I managed to make very simple "games." They weren't really games, but at they were to little ol' me.
At the age of 11 I self-taught myself coding through multiple help interfaces built into the program. From then on I have been coding regularly and ever expanding my knowledge of various coding languages.
However, I never stopped there. Code alone can't do much. So I branched out to creating 2D art assets, 3D art assets, writing, designing, and all the other things needed for creating a game. I became completely independent in my methods of design.
Here I am at San Jacinto Community College working on a degree in Simulation and Game Design. It is wonderful to meet all of you.

Below is my Jessie. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am today. She has been there to pull me out of the toughest time in my life, and give me the motivation to push on and make something of myself. I owe everything to her.

My name is Enya MIftari, and this is my very first year in college. I am an early high school graduate so college happened pretty fast for me. When I graduated, I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do, I just had a general idea. I took a semester to work, (I have been with HEB for almost two years), and look into what I really want to do and I am now majoring in Life Sciences and studying to be in the radiology program. My family ranges from two miles away to thousands of miles away. My mom and dad came from Albania and my sister and I were the first born generation born in America. My name is Patricia Burdine, I live in the central time zone in Pearland. I've stayed pretty busy over the years with four kids, youth sports, and working full time. I enjoy being involved with youth sports and couching my daughter in softball and volleyball. I have worked in the medical field for the last 11 years as a Certified Medical Assistant. I decided to try new specialty in medicine and transferred to Plastic Surgery. I currently work for University of Texas Physicians department of  plastics and absolutely LOVE my job! When people think about plastic surgery the first thing that comes to your mind is... fillers, botox, breast augmentations, "Tummy Tuck". It so much more than just the vanity of it all. I deal with head toe trauma patients. Anything from gun shot wounds, burns to of 50 percent of your body, to breast reconstruction after battling cancer. People come to us to be put back together again and feel better about themselves. It's rewarding to walk with them through a part of their journey in making just a small part of their life better again. My main goal with all of this is to obtain my nursing degree. This is a huge career change since I had been a cosmetologist up until an injury has left me unable to continue in that line of work. I am passionate about drafting and design so far and have loved every minute of learning how to draw with the computer. 
I am currently living out in livingston with my little boy which is why I have chosen to do the long distance learning.
