I think a tessellation is an arrangement of pictures/objects that are put directly next to each other. These pictures/objects create a geometric pattern with no gaps in between them.

2.) To create a tessellation, you must use photoshop. First, you need to create a new file that is 8 by 8 inches. Next create a grid that either goes by 4,2, or 1 inches. To create a grid you can either drag them down vertically and horizontally from the rulers or you can go to view and new grid. Next, open your desired photo that you want to use for your tessellation and go to image and then image size. Change the image size width and length according to what size grid your are using. For example: if you are doing the 4 inch grid, change the image width and length to 4. To make it more exact, if it changes, use the crop tool to get is closest to the inch you need. Drag the photo into the first box. Then, go to layer and duplicate layer. Drag the layer over to the box to the right. The picture to the right of the original will be a horizontal transformation, the one under will be vertical and the one across from the original will be both horizontal and vertical. Continue this process for each group of 4 until you complete the tessellation.

3.) I liked that we were able to take pictures of whatever we wanted and we could be more creative. My favorite image was the one of the pink flower.

4.)  I struggled with getting the 2inch tessellation because the images were so small so it was harder to work with them and it took much more time. 

5.)
