Vor Corona haben wir einmal im Monat Muffins gebacken und sie gegen eine Spende von 50Cent in den Pausen abgegeben. So hatten wir genug Geld um den monatlichen Betrag von 25€ zu bezahlen, der es Sofia ermöglicht nachmittags nach der Schule in die "Villa Sonnenschein" zu gehen, wo sie Essen bekommt, Unterstützung bei den Hausaufgaben und wo es im Anschluss Bastel- und Spieleangebote gibt. Außerdem konnten wir genug Geld zurücklegen, um Sofia und ihrer Familie zu Weihnachten über die Organisation ein Paket zu schicken. Die unteren Fotos zeigen sie mit dem Paket im vergangenen Jahr. Auch in der Ukraine verändert Corona so einiges. Die "Villa Sonnenschein" ist zur Zeit geschlossen. Aber die Mitarbeiter besuchen die Kinder und ihre Familien zu Hause und versorgen sie immer wieder mit Lebensmitteln. Sofia und ihre Familie konnte im Sommer aus der kleinen Einzimmerwohnung in der Stadt in ein kleines Haus am Stadtrand ziehen. Erstmal haben sie es nur gemietet, langfristig wollen sie es aber gerne kaufen. Es muss noch sehr viel renoviert werden, aber sie genießen es, ein bisschen mehr Platz zu haben. Außerdem können sie dort ihr eigenes Gemüse und Obst anbauen. Die Mitarbeiter von "Brücke der Hoffnung" haben sie dabei mit Pflanzen und Samen versorgt. Dies kannst du auf den anderen Fotos sehen. Bereits im Oktober habe ich ein großes Weihnachtspaket für die Familie gepackt. Dieses ist nun mit dem LKW unterwegs in die Ukraine zu Sofia. Gerne hätte ich das mit euch zusammen getan. Aber es musste ganz schnell gehen, da lange nicht klar war, ob überhaupt ein LKW fahren darf.
