         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Anglo-saxon literature was anonymous and oral.</div><div>-The Poet was called “scop”,he entertained the nobleman in the halls of kings,accompanied by a harp on occasions of ceremonies and festivities.</div><div>-It was written down by church clerks.</div><div>The main formal aspects of anglo-saxon poetry were stress,alliteration and kenning.</div><div>-The medieval lyric was a popular form that expressed intense emotions.</div><div>-Firstly were religious but later became secular (love and nature).</div>]]></description>
