Following the acquisition of the old police station, construction works have begun in line with remedial conservation, which required extensive research to ensure the construction works to be as true to the original as possible.

We do this twice a day, five days a week, at our museum taking temperature and humidity readings in all sections especially where fragile and sensitive materials are stored.
