One reason I chose to read this book is because it is the story of Curt and Ana’s sons. They are twins who were diagnosed with autism. I want to get more background knowledge about autism since we are also reading A Boy Called Bat, which is a realistic fiction story about a boy with autism. I’m only at the beginning of the book, but so far I’m learning about the struggles of a family who must conquer the challenges of having two boys who are autistic. I am looking forward to getting further into this book because it is a topic I am interested in. So in the beginning there is a kid named dorso clayman and his friend frank Tate are the Maine characters so in the start of the book dorso clayman is seeing some pretty weird stuff” in his locker he sees a dead body and there are flies in there then he sees a cave man and then he sees cleopatra. But his friend frank does not believe him so then later in the book frank starts to believe him and they get pretty scared because if people are bringing things from the past in to the future things could get bad and they could get stuck in the past of they go and if they don’t go things will go horribly wrong will they save the world or will they chicken out? The man who is chasing gets led into the base where the man who is being chased came from. Then one of the chaser’s freinds comes in to help. After that the two head back home with one plane badly damaged. One of the two helps the badly damaged plane out of the Chinese airfield so that the Chinese aren’t suspicious. The last story is about a big group of men are on a march to get somewhere and end up fighting Chinese soldiers. That is pretty much what happens in the last story. Then the book has some more facts about the Korean War. And then that is how the book ends. Honestly this book is short but it is very entertaining, at an acceptable level, and gives a pretty good idea on some things that happen. I am thinking that the girl will have to have a “changed life” what I mean by this is people will have to talk slowly to her so that she can comprehend their words.
I am exited to read more in my book and it is a very interesting topic to me.

I am now reading Whisper Me This. It is another mystery, but it is not suspenseful or scary. It has me thinking through lots of clues, just like the last book I was reading. The main character, Maisey, goes back to her childhood home to take care of her ill parents. Her mother ends up passing away toward the beginning of the book and her dad is so upset by the death that he basically goes cookoo in the head. While Maisey is trying to sort everything out, she comes to find out that she may have a secret sister that she was never told about AND her father may not actually be her real father at all.
This author keeps me hanging and wanting to keep reading to find out more about this long lost sister. The author writes about her experience with adopting her daughter. Her story is unique because after she adopts Grace, she allows the birth parents to get to now Grace too. When I read the prologue she mentioned even letting the birth parents live with her her for awhile because they were very poor and needed a lot of help. I am very eager to see how that goes and to learn more about the relationship of these people. I'm wondering how old Grace is now, since this is a true story. He also has a cousin that lives with them.
