For this Transitions piece, I wanted to communicate not only the change in seasons, but also the relationship between man and earth. Originally, this photo shoot was meant to demonstrate decay, but also body and earth becoming one. The high contrast of the pictures also emphasize the intensity of the situation, and suggest how a victim would only see life in black and white. When researching things that burst at the seems, I became very intrigued by the line work in ripped jeans. On the left, my model is a put together, confident woman. On the right, we see her in a much more chaotic state, something a classy woman would never let the public eye see. Who was more curious than them? Literally nothing had been discovered yet, so all they could do was wonder about the possibilities. One of the biggest acts of curiosity was when they picked the fruit from the tree, despite God telling them not.
