In chapters 37-48 it was action packed and very fast paced. Some of the main events were murder, escaping and PTSD. This was shown by Nico acting the craziest he has ever been by hunting the couple down and stoping at nothing to finish his "art" masterpiece. Veronica shows bravery and strength having to keep herself just above surface from Nico's cruel nature. Mick is unstopable when faced with helping someone shes loves. The emotions in these chapters are upsetting, fury, and regret. Claudia tries to bring Mick and her family back together. PTSD follows the girls around well after. They have to deal with the pain and misery they just had to endure. Nico is unhinged with his actions after the girls think they escaped his grasp. Overall this book's ending was more exciting then it started and had a great close off. The picture I have chosen to represent my timeline entry is a person drowning. This is image demonstrates how the little boy drowning effected Mick all through the story in her behavior and mindset. Mick feels like shes drowning in such deep water that she can't get out now: with her mom, Nico's shenanigans and her love situation. Veronica is drowning in emotions with dealing with her friends dropping like flies, a mistrusted friend and the police. The idea of drowning was repeated many times with the little boy, David getting pushed off the bridge and the main characters emotions.

In chapters 1-12 the story-line of the book starts by introducing the reader to the main characters Veronica, Mick, and Nico. The book starts by introducing us to Veronica, she is a very talented photographer. In chapter 7 we get introduced to Mick who is a free-spirited artist, and Nico whom Veronica introduces to Mick, Nico is a tall, lanky guy, he's also a little bit older than Mick and Veronica. The first twelve chapters of the book dive into the characters desires, secrets, and relationships. The book starts to build tension and mystery, and starts to hint at the darker events that come later in the book. Some of these events include: The Art Gallery incident, the fire incident, suspicion and consequences. I chose a picture of a flame burning out of control because the first 12 chapters of the book explore themes of obsession and the intensity of attraction toward one another, this relates to a flame burning out of control because the flame represents the destructive and danger of the characters passions/desires.

In Chapters 13-24 the story starts off by the characters face tensions and confront their feelings for each other. This reveals some hidden feelings and also conflict. Veronica wrestles with her feelings for both her friends and the romantic interests. During these chapters there are secrets revealed, the group faces pressures that test there loyalty to each other, and they are to trust in one another. Secondly the choices made by the characters lead to confrontations, which force them to confront one another and the consequences of their actions. Near the end of this chapter they face more challenges, and their bonds and paths they are taking are moving forward. Mainly during these chapters its filled with drama, tough decisions the group has to make, and also honesty and trust. I chose this image because during these chapters the characters face some conflict, and there are secrets revealed. The main characters such as Veronica face pressure that tests her loyalty to the other main characters. This image goes with these chapters because of all the secrets revealed as well as the honesty, and loyalty they show to each other.

In chapters 25-36, suspicion and tension rise between characters. Between the losses of death and creating art, Mick must try to balance her life, while Veronica figures out her loyalty to Nico and the trust she has put into his work. Nico's art is all hands-on. He includes a lot of elaborate meaning to it. Such as a rose; that he created. He creates sculptures from living objects and moulds them into plaster. This is my reason for choosing a rose sculpture as my media image. Slowly, Nico reveals some deep secrets that leave Veronica and Mick in fear as they keep it to themselves to maintain their innocence. Toward the book's conclusion, some surprising events grab your attention as you anticipate the resolution.
