Unfortunately there are no workplaces where men and woman are both paid the same but if a woman works in a union, there is less of a wage gap. Women who are able to work in a unionized profession earn 82% of what men make. This means there is less of a wage gap because women in professions without a union only make 72% of what men do. Hopefully, we can close this wage gap for every job.

https://www.resourcefulmanager.com/women-workplace-statistics/

While this issue is being addressed, in Australia, the average wage gap between men and women is 15.3%, therefore on average women make $250.20 less than men per week. While these statistics are not specific to Canada, they're very similar and express the same fact that men more commonly make more than women.
https://www.wgea.gov.au/sites/default/files/gender-pay-gap-statistics.pdf

However at the moment women earn less than men, they are less likely to advance in their careers as men are, and they gain less retirement savings.

Although gender equality has been a major issue for a long time it is still not fully resolved. There is still a discrepancy between the wages that men and women make. According to an Australian government website, there is a pay gap of about 15.3% more for men. On average women men make $251.20 more per week than women. Much of this pay gap is influenced by discrimination, the industries that men and women are more prominent in, and lack of workplace flexibility to accomadate for responsibilities. Many countries, including Australia, are working towards fixing this issue and maing the gender wage gap no longer an issue. https://www.wgea.gov.au/sites/default/files/gender-pay-gap-statistics.pdf

According to marketing experts, there has been a drastic increase in equality rights between genders involving the workplace. For instance, back in the 1900's, women only received 72.7% of what men earned for the same occupation and position. Obviously this was very sexist considering that both men and women were doing the same amount of work. Fortunately, recently women have been receiving the same amount of wage which is very just and proves the gender equality in today's workplaces.
https://brandongaille.com/35-gender-inequality-in-the-workplace-statistics/
