Most of them just state how seeing this is a major throwback to their childhood, as well as shearing their thoughts on it being an alcoholic beverage. Lets say that some people were extremely excited about it and others, well, absolutely disgusted 😂.

From this I have explored not only the audience to whom they think would buy the new Gin,  ( as well as their opinions on the product ) but also the variety of the Hubba Bubba products; in terms of shapes, materials, content, and colors.

I thought that the colour light would highlight the texture of the velvet in a really nice way. Turns out the backdrop you cant really tell, but it created this contrasting atmosphere with the colours created in the bubbles, and my face.
I used myself because we were divided in groups and I was the only one who wanted to use that backdrop, so I setted up the temp. and took sequences to take as many moments from the creation of the bubble till it exploted. 
Found really interesting the texture it creates with the light as well as when its exploted.
Also I think that the angle + light give it a bit of that contrasting look compared to the "childish" aesthetic attached to the product.

Apparently the name comes from the phrase HUBBA HUBBA militaries would say in WW2 to express approval.  

But the origing of that phrase is still a bit of a mistery, but there are some theories about it:

1.says it comes from chinese "ni hao pu hao", picked up by the air corps members while training w chinese pilots in Florida during WW2.
2.but the chinese phrase was mistranslated to "its good under heaven when boy meets girl"
3."Hubbub" was the phrase a leader forced his troop to scream, and later was shortened to "hup hup hup hup" used by the sergeants.
4.Other say that its origin is not only from the military but also baseball w "haba haba" as in hurry hurry.
5.some of this theories give us a beauty-sexual connotation. Margaret Atwood suggested in Playboy, that hubba hubba comes from german hubsche meaning beautiful.

Found really interesting that knowing the sexual or related, background the name comes from, still was used for a product whose audience was young children and teens.

One would be the space/exhibition 'hi boo I love you' at Frank’s Cafe.
But I need to go and explore how busy it is and if its possible to take pictures there. 
If that plan fails I would create a little set like the mockup picture I created making it a bit fantasied.

And for the darker set i was thinking just a black space and play with the lights/projections and shadows. Or ideally an outdoor space when it gets darker.
Still figuring how to organise this with my models :)

Adding, deleting and adjusting the curves and heights to make sure that stem, ascender, descender, terminal, finial, cap-height, x-height, baseline and descender line all match. It was quite a mission to accomplish this since I did it all by hand and eye, although the grid and rules did help a lot.

I decided I wanted to have the outlines only to create a nice balance. This way we can use it on the pictures, letting them show through and we can also play with the colour of the outline to suit it to each layout!
It was a challenge and my first type ever so I'm really happy about the results. 
Keeping in mind this type was created from two existing types I'll call it Gublux, genious I know.
