As a result, public schools have seen their budgets decrease. Students are now attending private and religious schools paid by taxpayer dollars. Yet despite all the clamor, few realize that test performance of these students at these private schools is no better, and often worse, than the local public schools."</em><br><strong>Why I chose this quote:</strong> <br>This stuck with me because I went to a public school. Mostly all of my neighbors went to private schools because they are "better". However, I saw so many successful students come out of my high school and did not realize a decline in knowledge at all just because we were public education</div>]]></description>
