When anazlyzing modern day or other historic developments, military resistance tends to be the most commonly used response. This is often used because when other territories attack, they aren't just gonna sit there and take it. A lot of the time, the countirews won't even be willing to make a peace deal, they just want to conquer or assert dominance over others. So countries fight back against them, like the Russia and Ukraine war.
